Clean Energy Trust – Mission and Purpose • Mission: To accelerate the growth of a clean energy economy in the State of Illinois • Vision o Clean energy will define the future and Illinois has an opportunity to become a leading State in this business sector

• Hosted by Chamber of Commerce’s Foundation with fiscal agency agreement o Share program resources, expedite set-up, provides validation for IRS
• Proceeds from activities can be redeployed by 501(c)3, creating in essence an “evergreen fund” 7
