The Rabun Gap Baseball Camp encompasses all breakdowns of baseball: fielding, baserunning, sportsmanship, hitting, pitching, agility, strength and conditioning.
All Sports Camp The All-Sports Camp is back at Rabun Gap this summer! This 5-day camp is designed to provide campers an opportunity to to learn and play a variety of games and sports, to keep their minds and bodies active, and to promote the core tenets of spirit and sportsmanship embodied by all Rabun Gap athletics. Campers will participate in activities such as soccer, lacrosse, tennis, speed and agility, golf, kickball, wiffle ball, flickerball, track and field events, and more! The goal is for every camper to leave with a feeling of satisfaction, independence, and achievement — and of course, have a blast! On Friday, we will end the funfilled week of competition and learning with a parent expo “Olympics” style event, allowing the campers to showcase their growth and learning from the week.

Campers will learn drills to help improve their game and then apply these skills in daily scrimmages. This camp combines a fun learning environment with a focus on pushing the player to the next level. Players of all abilities are invited as the campers will be divided into groups based on skill level. Stretching, speed, agility, and strength will start the day. Campers will also focus on skill breakdowns (infield glove work, outfield, catching etc.) and will end each day with field games and scrimmages.

The Rabun Gap Soccer Camp will be led by Boys Varsity Head Coach Bart Sasnett and Girls Varsity Head Coach Jesse Greener. Campers will have a rounded soccer experience including a broad range of soccer techniques, skills, tactics and game play. All players will be challenged at an appropriate level, while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment!

Cirque Camps Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School is one of the only schools in the nation to offer a full Cirque program for students.Your child is invited to experience this unique opportunity this summer! In the Beginning Cirque Camp, campers will work through a variety of skill sets on fabric, lyra and trapeze. Campers will be introduced to creative climbs and practice a variety of body shapes, working through poses in single and double foot locks. In the Intermediate Cirque Camp, campers will progress from basic to more complicated skills in order to build strength and understand how their bodies move on the different apparatus.

Ms. Kimmie brings over 20 years of instruction, performance, choreography, and production. Most notably, she was dance captain to Grammy Awardwinning artist Beyoncè Knowles for over a decade and has performed live on some of the biggest stages in entertainment. Join us for an unforgettable week of dance filled with music, movement and memories! Dance experience is not necessary.

Orchestra Fiddle Camp Calling all violin, viola, cello, and bass players! Come join your fellow musicians for a fun week of Orchestra Fiddle Camp! Each day we will play music games, work on a fiddle tune and classical tune for an end-of-week off campus performance, and have fun making music. Students need 1 year of experience playing their instrument and the camp is open to students in rising 3rd through 6th grades. Campers are strongly encouraged to have their own instruments. There is a limited number of instruments available to borrow for use during camp if necessary.

Academic & Enrichment Camps This year, we will offer two sessions of IDEA Lab Camp - one to kick off the summer and one at the end of July and early August! During IDEA Lab Camp, we will discover the world of innovation. This unique camp experience encourages young minds to explore and create with a focus on design thinking and engineering practices. Children will turn imaginative ideas into reality with access to handson construction materials as well as with the help of the latest technologies, including robotics, coding, and artificial intelligence. This camp is held in our Dess Oliver STEAM Center on campus! Please note, this is a FOUR-DAY camp running TUESDAY-FRIDAY in Week 1 and MONDAY-THURSDAY in Week 7.
ABC Art Camp Join Rabun Gap Early Learning teachers for this fun and exciting multi-sensory approach to writing our letters. Using the Orton Gillingham method, this is a handson scientifically based form of learning how to write and learn letter sounds. Proper letter formation is an essential part of early childhood education. When taught in sequential order through multi-sensory activities, students can remember how to form letters neatly and smoothly. Letter identification and lettersound correspondence will also be explored during camp. This camp is open to all students going into PreK4, Kindergarten, and 1st grades.
