Dear Friends,

We extend our sincere gratitude to you for participating in the 2024 Els for Autism® Pro-Am. Although we held our 2023 Pro-Am just a few months ago, we have many exciting updates to bring you on how we are providing a world of limitless possibilities to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families.

Since opening the Stoops Family Adult Services Building, we have continued to increase the number of adults receiving the necessary programs and services aimed to foster independence, confidence, and a sense of purpose by capitalizing on each person’s strengths, needs, and interests at The Els Center of Excellence® campus in Jupiter, Florida. We look forward to touring you throughout the building at the Pairings Party on Sunday evening.

To further expand our adult services, our employment team is successfully creating new relationships with local partners to become Work Experience (WE) sites. This past January, the Big Easy™ Cafe by Ernie Els, located inside our adult services building, officially became a WE site where two adults are learning essential skills to excel in the food industry. Our staff always enjoyed popping into the cafe for a meal, coffee, or snack. Now, it is even more meaningful to see the smiles and progress of our clients. In fact, the adults participating in the WE training program regularly create the special of the day, which tends to sell out, giving them even more pride in what they are

learning in our cafe. We are excited to announce that the cafe will be catering the hors d’oeuvres at the Pairings Party. You will be sure to enjoy the tasty selection of small bites.

We have made great strides in our recreation programs and are currently expanding our Ernie Els #GameON Autism® Sports web portal to house all necessary materials needed for an organization, anywhere in the world, to become an Official Program Provider of our golf, tennis, and fitness programs.

Finally, we believe in not just providing support and best practices to individuals with autism but the entire family. We have launched two new virtual support groups with one dedicated to parents/caregivers and another for siblings.

Latest News in Early Diagnosis of Autism

In our mission to become a global leader in the field of autism, Els for Autism is proud to announce we are one of the few organizations in the country utilizing the new clinically validated, FDA-authorized EarliPoint™ autism evaluation tool to assist our team of clinicians in diagnosing and accessing children, ages 16 to 30 months old, at risk for ASD.

EarliPoint will now allow our team of clinicians to see more families with decreased wait times while still providing a gold-standard autism evaluation.

Latest Initiative in Full Swing

With more companies partnering with our newest initiative U Can Employ™ (UCE) powered by Els for Autism, we aim to change the employment landscape for individuals with autism nationwide. UCE serves as a guide for businesses, large and small, to embrace autism inclusion in their workforce.

By equipping companies with the essential tools and strategies for embedding autism inclusion into their workforce, UCE supports businesses to recruit, hire, onboard, and retain autistic employees.
