EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS We are YOUR partner in the recruitment and onsite training of qualified and talented individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

Partnering with Els for Autism gives your business support in recruiting employees with ASD and other developmental disabilities whose talents align with your business goals. Els for Autism job coaches and clinical staff offer assistance during the onboarding, orientation, skill development, and retention process. In addition, Els for Autism provides on-site training for administrators and staff to support existing diversity initiatives and enhance workplace culture.

Employers often find individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities exceptionally dedicated, excelling in attendance, punctuality, job tenure, and following workplace policies.

Els for Autism Employment Programs are for adults with ASD and other developmental disabilities ages 18+ who have exited the school system. Services include:

BENEFITS FOR EMPLOYEES Many times, what we do defines who we are. Besides earning an income, employment is necessary for individuals to have a sense of independence, become part of their community, and share their strengths and talents.

The Work Experience (WE) program is a 10-week internship, supporting individuals interested in career exploration or securing and maintaining integrated and competitive employment. Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) services focus on developing self-advocacy and employability skills, job development, providing job leads, supporting the interview process, and supporting job retention with job coaching offered before, during, and following placement in paid employment.
