Gedung Kesenian Jakarta Gedung Kesenian Jakarta is a performing arts venue that was built in 1821 by the Dutch Colonial. The building boasts a rich historical value both artistically and politically. Unfortunately the building doesn’t have a brand identity that portrays its values and uniqueness. A new brand identity is aimed to capture the core values of the building, but still keeping the brand relevant with the modern age and to make it more accessible to the public. The identity portrays the elegance and the classical value of the building. Yet as an art venue, is expressive and doesn’t constrain too much to traditional convention. This is visible from the use of dynamic composition throughout the identity, but balanced with a graceful typeface and subdued colors. The project consisted of a comprehensive brand identity design with the identity applications such as, stationery set, marketing collaterals, website, advertising, signages, and various ephemeras.

Nowadays people tend to find information on the internet. Hence, it is pivotal for Gedung Kesenian Jakarta to have its own website. The website for the brand contains information and actions such as event schedule, ticket purchase, venue booking, latest news, etc. These contents make it easier for the audience to engage with the brand. Additionally, a mobile application is made for members of the building. They can easily check events schedule, buy tickets, check their venue reservation from their phone.

Music App Concept An interface design concept for a music app. I wanted to design an app that is simple to use, doesn’t confuse the users, but still have the essential functions. The app focuses on easy usability and approachability, hence the simplistic and minimalistic approach. Blue is used as an accent in the design, and also functions as an emphasis for some elements such as buttons and headlines. All of the contents are organized neatly, following a grid.
