Here at Radian Photography, we are dedicated to creating tangible heirlooms for you and your family. That's why we are passionate about creating albums: this is the beginning of your legacy, and your family will have this to look at for generations.
In this guide, we will walk you through picking out the perfect album for your home. You'll learn the three easy steps of ordering an album, and we will have your first family heirloom in your hands in a few short weeks! We cannot wait until you receive it!

Album Selection Guide: Step 1 Selecting Your Photos: due 14 days after photos have been delivered
This first step is potentially one of the hardest for our clients. There are so many photos that have meaning! We encourage you to remember that this is your wedding album: the thing you will look back on 50 years from now and show off to your children. Pick the best of the best to include and don’t forget that you have the rest backed up digitally! To complete this step, you will go to Pixieset and start a new favorites category called “Album favorites.” A great place to start doing this is the “highlights” tab. As curators of your wedding story, we have already picked out photos that we think would be wonderful additions to your wedding album. We encourage you to start your favorites list here by clicking on the heart button on any photo that is essential to include in your album. We might have missed a few important moments or included some that don’t necessarily fit, and that’s okay! You get to make the final decisions on your wedding album! Most of our album packages come with 20 pages (except The Legacy, which comes with 30). We recommend that you choose only twice as many photos as there are pages so that your album stays elegant and not too crowded. For albums that come with 20 pages, you would choose no more than 40 photos. If you have to choose more (we understand!), you can always add more pages and spreads in the next step! Once you have completed choosing your favorite photos, let us know! Then, move onto the next step to select your album package!


Album Selection Guide: Step 2 Selecting Your Album Package & cover: due 14 days after photos have been delivered
Congratulations! That was the hard part! Step 2 of finalizing your album is simple: you just need to select what album package you would like. We offer three different album types and we love them all for different reasons. Use this guide to select the album package that would best preserve your memories and then submit your selection through Honeybook. One of the most important parts of this step is picking out your cover. The Tradition album comes with a beautiful Japanese fabric cover, The Heirloom album comes with a genuine Italian leather cover, and The Legacy comes with a luxe European-woven linen cover. Once you have decided on the package, select your cover — you will indicate which one you prefer in your album agreement (we will send this to you after you submit your choice through the brochure)! You might have also found when picking out photos that you will need some extra spreads to accommodate them all. Or, as your parents looked through your photos, they might have mentioned how nice it would be for them to have their own album. Maybe you want to add your names and wedding date gorgeously foil embossed on the front cover or an elegant bamboo box to keep your album safe from years, moves, and potential falls off of shelves. These are all things you will do during this step! Once you have decided what album package you would like and the add-ons that will make your album completely customized and perfect for you, simply submit that information to us through Honeybook! We will then send you an album agreement (and invoice, if applicable) and start laying out your photos!

Album Selection Guide: Step 3 Pay invoice and finalize proofs: Due 7 days after proofs are received by Client.
You are almost done with the album ordering process! At this point, you should have: 1) Chosen the photos you want in your album 2) Submitted to us your album package, cover color, and any add-ons you would like 3) Signed your album agreement and paid your invoice (if applicable) Now it’s our turn! Using your photo selections, we will lay out your album spreads and send the proof to you for adjustments or approval within 14 days. We will make any changes that you indicate and send the album your way for final approval. Once approved, we send your album to the printer! Albums will be delivered back to us approximately 6-8 weeks after they are sent off. We can’t wait until you get to hold your gorgeous album — your very first heirloom as a new family!
