Language is the road to God, but words are the tools of the Devil. The map is not the territory. Terms may be used, but none of them are absolute. Don’t bite my finger, look at where I’m pointing!

anguage can be the raft people travel on to get to the
other shore. If we are ever to transcend our animal ori-
gins and aspire to our angelic potential, it will be through the
correct understanding of the words to be found in the world’s

great spiritual teachings. But if the Buddhists and others are
correct, we must abandon the raft of we will truly never arrive. Ludwig Wittgenstein, the Western philosopher of language,
likened words to a ladder that must be abandoned once the mind has used them to ascend to metaphysical heights.
Christians, Jews, Moslems, and Hindus use the words of their ancient scriptures to learn of their higher nature and find the
right way to live. Buddhists use words to defeat language and trick the mind into letting go of its own illusions. Sufis and
Cabalists use double meanings, metaphors, anagrams, and
other word tricks to convey the esoteric teachings embedded in exoteric scriptures. Animists sue words to name and honor the living spirits tat dwell in the world. Shamans use words
as magical power objects, to propel the mind and spirit into
the underworld and upperworlds. And Taoists just let words flow by, like everything else, remembering to lay down their nets when their fish are caught. If there is one thing that all
the world’s different spiritual traditions agree upon, it is the
necessity of both using words and then abandoning them when they have served their purpose. uffda (Swedish): A word of sympathy, used when someone else is in pain. [exclamation] Every language has a word that is used when one is suddenly attacked by pain. Ouch is the most polite English word, and a variety of less polite words are used when people strike thumbs with hammers, hit their funny ones against furniture, or feel a sudden twinge of arthritis. But Swedish slang contains an onomatopoeic word that can be used as a sympathetic exclamation when somebody else is in pain: Uffda (OOF-dah) combines “Ouch for you” and “Oh, I’m sorry you hurt yourself.” This is the kind of meme, like Gesundheit, that could catch on very quickly. The next time you have an opportunity, say it, and see what happens. At the worst, you’ll get a puzzled look. At best, you’ll raise the compassion level in the world.

A Shaman’s First Ayahuasca Plant Medicine Journey By Joya Delaney I remember being welcomed into my friends’ lovely home to experience my first AYAHUASCA session, a sacred drink made from a tropical woody vine in the Amazon. In Spanish, AYA means Spirit, Ancestor, WASCA means vine, and it is used in many parts of the world for healing mental illness, spiritual disturbance, disease… usually administered by trained Shamans that pray over the drink, sprinkle Florida water, blow tobacco smoke and sage in preparation for the many hours of journeying to other dimensions and into our past, to our ancestors, past our ego and our fears. I learned about this drink when I went to a Shaman conference in Peru. It was around the time of Carlos Castaneda’s passing, a very popular shaman back in the day, who they were mourning. I thought it was some trippy hallucinogenic experience, but they emphatically told me “You are not a Shaman until you take Ayahuasca.” I said I already talk to Spirit. I’ve read and healed people for decades and I work with Creator and the Angels!” “Just do it and you’ll understand even more,” was their message. The most pure and powerful Shaman appeared straight from his Amazon healing center to guide me... Once I took my first drink, a beautiful feminine voice loudly said, “You Think You Know Everything… And You Do!” I felt a hand push my back and a couple of kernels of corn came out. I felt I was so clean from taking colonics (my ego) … then I was taken on a colorful journey around the world… I was told “You love and treasure Mother Earth… you work to nurture, save, and communicate with her… and you have many planets in your chart in Earth as well… We will show you the magnificence of what God/Goddess has created...” They then took me through all my travels and who I learned from and who learned from me. Egypt, Morocco, Japan, China, Greece, Portugal, Europe, South America, Mexico, Sedona and more. The many mystical experiences, my meetings with the most enlightened beings on our planet... They showed me the man who changes my whole life upon meeting him in Paris… He was a master of his mind spirit and body... I wanted to be like him and became his student, and because of his example I am the person I am today because of a chance meeting in a foreign country... They showed me everything I desired and loved and then rushed it to me and I was afraid... They told me “Your mission, and purpose is to release your fears, and assist others in doing so… (most humans are afraid of what they want the most - true love) … You are radiating love; you are a spiritual warrior and you have no idea what your work has done to take dark forces down and raise lightworkers to do their part. We call you Pachamama (Earth Mother) … I did about 8 more sessions, and that feminine voice always came through with much healing for me and the planet. Today I have in front of me everything to look forward to that was in that vision that I was fearful of. Onto the next magical stories to come. here we were, on a balmy Tuesday evening in the patio of a restaurant in Fullerton, CA with some
tasty tapas and a full Equinox moon: 17 men from many
walks of life sharing what matters to us, what excites us, and even what we could use support in.
We were aged 30ish to retirement, multiple ethnicities,
white and blue collar, single or in relationship, but none of these things were dominant or even a factor because we became connected at the heart as One. Maybe slowly at
first, but as we went around and heard/saw/felt each person sharing whatever they wanted about themselves, we
about sharing Our Truth from Our Hearts, which is the
Universal Language, so no interpreters were needed –
and we absolutely basked in the flow of all this goodness. One guy said he didn’t know he needed this until he experienced it. At least two others said the same. Another
said, “We’re swimming in some good s*** here tonight,” and we all laughed and agreed.
Another said he was surprised and how much he was learning from everyone’s shares, and we all agreed with that as well. In each man we heard - no, experienced - a lifetime of victories and challenges that created
important life lessons that coalesced into the beautiful soul who stood before us.

One 50+ gentleman said this was only the third time in his life he’s spoken in public and embraced the opportunity to do so.
How much LOVE is a man feeling for so-
called strangers that allows him to do that? We all felt blessed to witness this and hold space for him, and well as the others.
This must be what women feel when they
couldn’t help but connect with and totally love on that guy. That was the whole agenda: to meet and know other
males who were interested in all the things guys are normally interested in *and also* the things that stirred our
Souls. Even though this was our first gathering, we even
brushed up against the deeper mysteries of life that don’t have answers except to live and experience them. So, as
we laughed and joked about the possibility of the iced tea being spiked with psychedelic mushrooms, we proceed-
ed to trust each other with things we’ve only shared with people we’ve known for years, if at all.
It didn’t matter what politics we’d practiced in the past, what positions we’d taken in debates, what issues still tended to turn our hearts cold and our egos on high –
hey, we all have triggers we’re working on – this night was
get together for deeper conversations with each other: a profound fulfillment that’s hard to put into words. A
brotherhood belonging. A safe place to be a man, in the individual ways we wish to express that, and not necessarily in the ways we tend to think we “should.” In this, I
feel there is a greater allowing for us to have the space
to find our way back to ourselves organically and therefore back to our loved ones and community as a whole person.
After three and a half hours, it worked out that the last man to share was someone who’d lost his mother last year… and then he lost his beloved

– surprisingly I did not hesitate to say YES – I AM THERE! I did not know a single man who was going to be there;
it meant driving in L.A. traffic on a weeknight and it cost money to attend.
Most Men would say NO THANKS – why didn’t I? Let me tell you why…
On this Spiritual Journey since 2001 for me – I’ve attended many Meditation Circles, Healing Ceremonies, Book Studies, etc., and I would say 80-90% of the Attend-

I have been asking the Question: WHERE ARE MY BROTHERS AT?! Why are Men not interested in learning how to
heal the Heart and Awaken the Spiritual side of their Life? In 2018 I began what I called “A Sacred Circle of Men”
where we met in Person in Los Angeles and Online, for
those men who were not local. I took men through Robert
Augustus Master’s book “Bringing the Shadow Out Of the Dark,’’ where we would take an honest look into our darker side and be able to talk about these sensitive areas
with one another– kind of like a 12 Step Meeting where
one another, to speak from the Heart and truly learn
accepted and not judged. This was very new to these

He then shared the following study that points to more than the expansion of consciousness, but also opening up to wisdom in the quantum field that’s available to all of us. expand, and they could track it from the cilia they hung
down which monitored the minor voltage differentiations in microscopic areas, and they noticed it was centered inside their body around their solar plexus. With five of
them they discovered the pulsation of their field fell into direct sync with their heartbeat.
They came to form the conclusion that their human body was functioning like a radio crystal in an old crystal radio set, that it was actually generating a vibrational frequen-
cy that was in direct sympathetic resonance with the unified field that bonds every single, ultimately irreducibly
_____ of matter in our entire universe into harmony with
every other one. Because they had linked into the unified field, they could download information that was available inside what we refer to as the Akashic Records. They
found that this field of knowledge allowed for knowing
things at a remote distance; being able to communicate with other people, to know what’s going on, and also
that they can access information and experience in time moving both forwards and backwards… These are the faculties, the charisms that are known in the religious
traditions, that they had these gifts or talents they refer to in the Jesuit order, for instance.
There are talents that our human family has that are
latent in us, and that with proper attention to your diet,
your sexual habits, your meditative practices, not eat certain kinds of foods like meat that use up most of the en-
ergy in your body just trying to digest it, not a lot of spicy foods that amplify your sensory systems that overwhelm the subtle dimensions of experience that we’re capable of, that you can develop these things progressively.
You’ll discover that after a period of time of doing these
practices and meditations, you’ll start to get downloads of information because you’re getting yourself into a state of consciousness where you’re completely devoid of “Citta
vritti,” the chattering of your brain, when you’re sitting and
thinking, “I’ve got to do the laundry, I’ve got to go get my car
registered, I have to get gas in my car…” That chatter is going
on in your brain all the time. This meditative exercise gets you to a point where you are sitting calmly in place not thinking about anything. Now it takes some time to go through the
process – it takes 20 minutes of breathing in, breathing out,
breathing in, breathing out… You get more thoughts
of, “Why am I wasting my time doing this, I have laundry to do, errands to run…”
You’re not hurting anybody but yourself by not
doing this. You’re not wasting anyone’s time but
your own, by not doing this. And if you do this, you’ll discover as you get into this place of centered consciousness, that what you do is you actually experientially transcend all of the individuated aspects of your personhood. You lose your inculturation, you
lose your genetic predispositions, like when people say, “Oh, you talk just like your grandfather.” “I see
you’re walking like your Aunt Mary.” We have astrological predilections. You transcend all of that programming that your body incarnated with and you
come to a place of complete neutral being – a state of unconditional being – and you then are open to
the information that is available within the physical contours of the universe, within the unified field.
… And you come to realize that this state of con-
sciousness is eternal. And it is infinite. This is the infinite and eternal field that abides out beyond the boundaries of the physical cosmos, that
unfolded the universe into material manifestation, with us with it. So you can sit in unity with this
state of being, and it is in the state of being that salvation abides.

I bet you if you ask 10 of your friends, nine of them could not say that they love themselves, unconditionally, ev-
erything about themselves, the way that their hair looks, the way that they speak to other people, the way that
their body feels the way that they know. So how do you talk to yourself? When no one’s around? Do you speak
to yourself? In a calming, loving tone? Do you have goals and clear distinctions set out for yourself?

gift to ourselves. We get to finally Know Thyself, then
lives, we know the world would be better, and here we
have the world’s largest conscious network – Gaia – with over 8000 informative and enlightening films, original
shows, yoga meditation classes, and I see it in the same
as with Radiance, as, like the petals of a flower and within the center is wellness, or consciousness. They might
start with “Hmm, why am I getting in fights with my partner, my kids, my parents? The same thing keeps coming up, I want to stop that, what’s going on?” And then we
look to heal ourselves of these emotional traumas that happened in childhood, that are still given voice as an
adult, as if it just happened to us. Fights are almost never about what they’re about, right? Maybe we do therapy,
maybe we do energy healing. We branch out and then we start to go, “Hmm, what else is going on? I’m tuning into ancient civilizations… Oh, okay.” And crop circles and, and you start to expand, maybe there’s other aspects
of how we got here in the first place? Maybe we used to hear those stories in whatever traditions we grew up in.
They seemed like fairy tales, but I honor everyone’s truth, and hope they follow their truth wherever it leads them, and which ultimately… is to know thyself.

How do you use your intuition in the healing process?
I get messages that come to me through visions. I might get a whisper or a particular saying that happens over and over in my head that needs to be told to my client. For example, I usually have my clients journal between sessions. Then I
have them read it to me and intuitive messages and images pop through immediately, and it’s something that I need to tell them or something I need to make them aware of.
This frequently triggers the healing process. After that, it 24

I generally work with adults in their 30s and 40s who are have grown up with dysfunctional family dynamics, but here’s the thing: most people don’t realize that’s the underlying issue.
They don’t necessarily come to me for that, it’s some-
thing we sometimes discover through the work. They just know that they feel a general sense of lack of fulfillment
in their lives. Though they don’t connect the two issues, they notice that they’re not able to connect with their
parent in the way that they need. They may be stuck in finding healthy relationships, or they are trying to find their purpose, their way in life. They may feel like their
family dynamics are a little dysfunctional, but they’re not
sure, and they’re not sure how that’s affecting their lives. They could be happily married, in successful careers,
have children they love, they’ve checked all the boxes

Many times, a parent might have a personality disorder.
Frequently it’s narcissism. What happens with these clients is that they’re very high-functioning and “normal,” but
they just aren’t able to connect to one or both parents and
they’re not sure why. They find themselves throughout their lives really trying to fight for that attention and validation
and love. They don’t realize that this parent is not capable of that because of their personality disorder. It doesn’t
mean that the parent doesn’t want to, it doesn’t mean that the parent doesn’t love them - but it does mean that their mental illness blocks them from that love. That’s going to
transfer to the child or to that adult child that is still seeking that attention and validation.
They may see their parent give that attention and time to other people, and they’re like, “Wait a minute, why
don’t they do that with me?” The child thinks the parent
is capable of it because it’s an image that they portray to the outside world, but it’s not really who they are inter-

And so, as a child of that narcissistic parent, you’ll see them behaving in a contradictory way, giving time and
attention and affection to others, and it can be very confusing, because the child doesn’t get that kind of atten-
tion themselves. Once a client has that realization, we can move into techniques for reparenting, for healing those
wounds and removing those blocks. We move through a
process that lets them repair it together, while I hold their hand while they reparent themselves.
So, there’s hope, there is healing for these adult children of narcissistic parents? Oh yes. That’s why I’m here, doing this work! At the root of it all is unconditional love. My clients haven’t experi-
enced that kind of love from one or both parents, so to
heal those wounds, they need to learn to love themselves unconditionally. And that’s what I do.

That is not a new war, actually,
it’s been a war that’s been going
on for thousands of years. But the
interesting thing is, it’s coming to a
pinnacle right now. A massive energy
shift is on the way where humans will be able
to create their realities here on this earth ship, or not. The good news is it’s looking very probable the outcome will resolve itself.

sciousness will be registered not as one disappearing from this realm to go to another, but to more

We do not do predictions, but we can tell you that the energy has
never been this close, ever, than it is now for all of humanity to
break away from the slavery, so
that’s great news.

But Billy doesn’t give me the answers. Just like you, I
search for them. And I do a lot of searching these days when so much darkness fills the news.
What Billy does do, though, is give me ideas about how to make the best of things. I am surprised at how practical
he is. The more difficult the situation, the more practical
he becomes. In fact, lately he sounds more like some kind of Cosmic Mom than a bad-boy brother.
1. Breathe consciously. Long slow deep breathing fills you with life force and grounds you in your
body. Breath is energy and energy helps you feel strong. Take several deep breaths a few times a
day. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Even though the breaths are manner, keeping your body soft.
2. Eat your fruits and veggies. Well, don’t just eat them, eat them consciously. Those little gems were

3. Create order. The higher realms are very orderly. That order happens with no effort at all. But on

When I communicate, I feel into what is occurring in
my life. Where are my struggles, my triumphs, and how
can I share those in a way that will be relatable to those
that are newer in connecting with their higher selves, or who may not yet hear the messages of their angels and guides quite so clearly.
When I struggle, and I often do, I look for the lesson in
the struggle. Lately resistance has been my teacher and 36

Sharing Space With Other Creators By Scott Ware at the Expo One of the best parts about the Conscious Life Expo this September was getting to share space with people I have read and followed for years. I was going to call them “heroes of mine,” but that feels like old energy, with the possibility of giving my power away. They *were* heroes, and now they are simply extraordinary fellow creators who are moved to share divine truths with the world. We all have this capability and our unique gifts to do it in our own way, so there’s no reason to put anyone above or below us.

– His Faith and Devotion Live On

famous for healing a very sick child. More on that later.
A shawl that belonged to him was brought to the private home of a friend of my parents, and I was invited to join some neighbors who would be putting the shawl on themselves for its healing benefits.
