WHAT TO WATCH FOR
THURSDAY

• Thanksgiving football between two of the best teams in the American Athletic Conference.
Tulane has been great offensively – averaging 40.5 points (6th in FBS) and 227.1 rushing yards (10th). They have averaged 43.4 points their last 8 games.
• Memphis averages 35.3 points (21st) but is averaging 40.2 points in their last 5 games. Memphis QB Seth Henigan is 12th in the FBS in passing (2,990 yards). He will pass 3,000 yards for the fourth straight season on Thursday.
• Both starting RBs have over 1,100 yards this year.
FRIDAY

• A pair of American Athletic Conference teams that are trending in different directions late in the season. Navy has lost three of four, while East Carolina has won four straight.
• Navy QB Blake Horvath leads the team with 1154 passing yards and 895 rushing yards. He also has 24 total TDs and just 4 INTs.
ECU QB Katin Houser took over the starting QB job in late October and has been awesome. In his 5 starts, the Pirates are 4-1, and he is averaging 301.2 passing yards per game. He also has 18 total TDs vs. 7 INTs in those starts.

North Texas needs a win in this game to get bowl eligible for the first time since 2022. They are on a five-game losing streak vs. stiff competition (Memphis, Tulane, Army, UTSA and East Carolina).
Mean Green QB Chandler Morris is 4th in the FBS in passing. He has 3,594 passing yards, 30 passing TDs and 12 INTs. He also has 225 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs.
• North Texas has three receivers over 500 yards – DT Sheffield (775 and 10 TDs), Damon Ward Jr. (615 and 4 TDs) and Blair Conwright (501 and 7 TDs).

• Oregon State pulled off the upset over Wazzu last week to get to 5-6 and one game short of bowl. They now have to face No. 11 Boise State and pull off one more upset to go bowling.
• The passing game has come alive for the Beavs since switching to Ben Gulbranson at QB. In two starts, Gulbranson is averaging 293 passing yards per game. He has 4 total TDs vs. 4 INTs this season.
• The Beavs allow 178.2 yards per game rushing, and they face the toughest task of the year – Boise RB Ashton Jeanty. He leads the FBS in rushing with 2,062 yards (7.5 yards per carry) and 27 TDs.

• UTSA has gotten hot late in the season –winning 4 of their last 5 games after a 2-4 start. Army fell for the first time this season to Notre Dame and are hoping to bounce back and head into the AAC Championship Game at 10-1.
• Two very good QBs. UTSA's Owen McCown is 14th in FBS with 2,963 passing yards, 23 TDs and 7 INTs. He also has 253 rushing yards and 2 TDs. Army's Bryson Daily leads the team with 670 passing yards, 1201 rushing yards, 30 total TDs and just 1 INT.
• UTSA is trying to finish over .500 for the 5th straight season with a win.

• Washington got bowl eligible with a win over UCLA a couple of weeks ago. Now, after a bye week, they will face the No. 1 team in the country.
• The Huskies have been solid on defense – allowing just 20.5 points and 312.7 yards per game. They allow just 160.5 passing yards per game.
• Washington RB Jonah Coleman surpassed 1,000 yards on the ground vs. UCLA. He has 1,008 yards and 9 TDs this season on 5.8 yards per rush.
QB Will Rogers has 2,458 yards, 14 TDs and 7 INTs this season.
