What is Community Supported Agriculture? Community Supported Agriculture, Agriculture or CSA, CSA is a way for community members to have a direct relationship with the people who grow their food. The benefits of your enrollment in our CSA program are numerous. With your membership, you are not only supporting our farm and helping to promote local agriculture, but you are also making a commitment to eating healthily and locally. As a member of our CSA, you are fostering a more direct relationship between yourself and the people producing your food. We welcome our CSA members to get involved in the program. We are always in need of volunteers to help coordinate drop-sites and advertise our CSA to new members. If you are interested in getting more involved, contact us at 802-897-2777 or e-mail katy@champlainorchards.com
About Us Champlain Orchards is located in Shoreham, VT overlooking Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. We are a diversified farm employing over 50 staff members in our busiest season. In addition to our CSA program, we also operate a wholesale delivery route, summer and fall pick-your-own crops, a mail order business, and an on-farm market that is open yearround.
If you are looking for a variety of organic vegetables as well as fresh apples and other fruit that only an orchard can provide, this CSA is for you! Our shares includes valuevalue-added farmfarm-made products as well as products from other local producers.
