Raise About us
Raise the Youth Foundation deliver services across Greater Manchester with targeted families who have young people up to the age of 25. We want to deliver services through Transforming Justice. It is likely we can bring match funding to the table through our strong partnerships.
Our Board are diverse in skills, gender and culture and have a long and wide ranging experience of delivering criminal justice work, including: > Ex-Youth Offending Resettlement Manager with experience in case management, court work and bail support > Police Chief Inspector (as a voluntary director) > Qualified Child Protection Social Worker > Retired Social Housing / Supported Housing Senior Manager > Two qualified RJ practitioners > Former local authority lead on ASB initiatives Operation Staysafe, Youth Restorative Disposals, Challenge and Support > Former lead on targeted youth support and Youth Crime Prevention > Public Health Professional > Senior Careers, Education and Training Manager > Co-operative Business Advisor

We employ a diverse team including ex-offenders as intervention workers, mentors and volunteers. We have strong links into communities across Greater Manchester and strong partnership links. We were previously used by probation services in GM as a provider for gang intervention work, resettlement, in reach, education training employment work and restorative justice.

This programme provides a regular location and time for a young person to find help.
SOS Connected
Assertive outreach programme which uses our innovative ‘Peer Connector’ network - highly effective at engaging the hardest to reach Young People.
