THE CODING SPACE The Coding Space is an after-school and summer program where students learn to tackle challenges independently through learning to code. Students work on projects in either Scratch or JavaScript and can choose which projects are appropriate for their level. Our teachers then make sure that students are engaged as well as challenged by what they’re working on. Our classes are run using The Socratic Method -- we ask students questions that lead them to figuring out answers on their own. Rather than giving students answers, we encourage them to learn the skills and tactics needed to independently problem solve. By providing students with challenging projects and a space where they are in charge of their own learning, our students develop their intellectual confidence, a growth mindset, and computational thinking skills. Grades 1-4 Monday - 14 weeks - $490 Wednesday - 14 weeks - $490 REGISTER ONLINE: www.TheCodingSpace.com/ramaz Eli Kariv (929) 352-1272 eli@thecodingspace.com

Everyone is going Gaga for Gaga! The Gaga Center is bringing Gaga to Ramaz for 1st and 2nd graders! Gaga is a fast-paced high-energy sport played in an octagonal pit. The more kids the better! Played with a soft foam ball, this game combines the skills of dodging, striking, running, and jumping while trying to hit opponents with a ball below the knees. Players need to keep moving to avoid getting hit by the ball. Fun and easy, all children get a serious workout. Gaga instructors will get the kids moving with a warm up, followed by a quick strategy lesson-the game is simple but there are some cool tricks to learn. Let the games begin! The rounds move quickly; they are usually complete in less than five minutes. Once the game ends, everyone is back in for the next round. Before kids think twice, they are working up a sweat, jumping in and out of the pits. Ga...Ga...Go! Mondays Grades 1-2 Fee: $580 14 sessions Register at link address below: https://www.gagacenter.com/nyc/enroll/S19RAMAZMON

Ben Hyman Music Guitar Course: 2nd-4th grade – 5-6 students 2nd-4th grade: $745 including $25 snack fee 15 sessions planned We all know it’s cool to play guitar, but learning guitar is more than just street cred. Learning guitar helps students develop many skills needed in life including, concentration, determination, and that hard-work pays off in the end. Even though guitar is one of the most popular instruments it’s also one of the most difficult to play. Unfortunately, more often than not, this instrument is not taught correctly resulting in improper technique which hinders the student’s progress and can result in actual injury. This course is designed to take the student through the basic fundamentals of playing (proper left and right hand technique, proper picking and strumming technique, chords and basic rhythm.) ensuring that they reach their full potential on the instrument. Most students who take this course continue with private instruction afterward. If you've taken lessons previously, please contact us before signing up. As music is best learned in small classes space is limited.

About Ben Hyman Music: Ben Hyman Music is the premier music agency serving the NJ/NYC area. Staffed with the best musicians in the music industry Ben Hyman Music provides music lessons taught by the musicians who perform with the biggest names in music.
