//2019-20 //Part II Placement //Squire & Partners
Ghadan 21 is a vital project that celebrates Abu Dhabi’s unique habitat and enriches access to natural sites through a vast landscape masterplan inspired by the journey from the desert to the sea.
//GHADAN21
The main aim of the scheme was to make the streetscape as pedestrian-friendly as possible via the use of architectural and landscape environmental interventions all along the Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Street, one of the city’s main transportation arteries.
6
I was involved in the project from workstages 0 to 3. My role included the design, 3D modelling and production of presentation images and detailed drawings for the climatic interventions located at the various pedestrianised zones in the scheme. A sample of this work is in the opposite page.
