INTRODUCTION
In the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains, surrounded by water on three sides, lies a well-maintained 148± acre recreational paradise. The west boundary is 0.68± miles of the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River and provides great wildlife habitat. The flat to rolling riverbank is covered in tall Cottonwood trees, bunches of willows, and lush green grass. There have been many dove, pheasant, and waterfowl hunts along the banks of the river, not to mention countless parties and a few weddings as well. It is a recreational paradise with endless fun activities surrounded by a wildlife-laden environment. Along a portion of the south boundary, a 0.5± mile freshwater oxbow is home to many birds and is part of the Central Waterfowl Migration Flyway.
On the east side of the property, you will find the Orchard Canal, which flows along the contour of the top of the property, irrigating the gently sloping income-producing Alfalfa fields. This a classic Montana riparian honey hole with Beartooth Mountain Views. The River Bend Ranch offers the seclusion of a wilderness getaway but is only 3± miles from the world-famous Edgar Bar.
