The property is home to strong populations of pheasants, sharp-tailed grouse, Hungarian partridge, turkeys, several species of ducks and geese, whitetail deer, mule deer, and moose.
While the Clark’s Fork River runs directly through the property and provides excellent fishing, there are several other fishing opportunities nearby; including the Boulder River, Rock Creek, East and West Rosebud Creek, and the Yellowstone River.
Located near the Absaroka/Beartooth Mountain range and surrounded by mountain streams and lush valleys, the River Bend Ranch is the epicenter of recreational pursuits, including exceptional hunting for species such as elk, mule deer, white-tailed deer, pheasant, sharp-tailed grouse, Hungarian partridge, and mourning doves.
This area is also known for its skiing, drawing people from all corners of the world to enjoy the excellent snow conditions, challenging slopes, and beautiful scenery. During the spring and summer months, horseback riding, hiking, backpacking, bird watching, mountain biking, white-water rafting, and kayaking are popular activities for both the locals and vacationing tourists.
