WATER SOURCES | WATER RIGHTS The Stewart Ranch is well-watered with 19 wells located throughout the ranch in addition to dugouts, dams and creeks. There are 15 strategically-placed wells providing livestock water via windmills and a solar system and 2 wells located at the headquarters providing domestic and livestock water for the homes and corral system. There are 2 additional private wells used for irrigation purposes which cover approximately 196± irrigated acres under Zimmatic pivots each supplied by a separate well (water permits transfer with sale). One irrigation system is powered by electricity and the other by diesel engine. The past couple years Sudan Grass was raised in the irrigated fields and then grazed off after harvest.

IMPROVEMENTS Indoor Arena After many years of training horses and careful thought, the Stewarts constructed a 100 x 250 foot custom Behlen indoor arena. The facility is large enough to host large equestrian events with the arena being 100 x 185 feet with three overhead access doors perfect for that equine enthusiast. The indoor arena can be utilized for roping, barrel racing, cutting and reining and also features a 32 x 100 foot area for warm up, tack and garage with an electronic overhead door and water hydrant installed on the north end of the barn.
