STARRING PREMIER ANGUS FEMALES FROM PREMIER ANGUS BREEDERS ROBBIE D. BEAN 2944 RS CR 3425, Brashear, TX 75420 903-571-7950 Dear Angus Breeders: Over the last few years the stature of the Stars of Texas sale has grown dramatically. We have all of the elements necessary to compete with the big Denver consignment sales, which have always been the benchmark for this type of sale. We have a beautiful city with the flair of the West in Fort Worth, a venue in the Southwestern Exposition and Stock Show which is second to none and typically outstanding weather for late January. What has changed over the years is the quality of our offering. We believe that the genetics available for purchase in the 2016 “Stars” can compete with any sale in the country. There are pregnancies by Tour of Duty out of the dam of Rampage, Journey’s out of 1) the top $B daughter of Upward’s record-setting full sister, Henrietta Pride 643T, 2) the dam of the million dollar EXAR Denver, and 3) a standout daughter of Rita 6108 sired by 5050, as well as a Discovery out of an Upward daughter of the famous Basin Lucy 3829. A sale highlight is sure to be the EXAR Stud out of the $420,000 valued full sister to Basin Payweight 1682. And that is just the pregnancies. Featured females include a direct daughter of the $140,000 Rita 9Q26 sired by Game On and due to calve before sale day to 100X, two daughters of the $B value index leader V A R Ever Intense 9082 by 9Q13 and Ten X, a granddaughter of the legendary $B leader Rita 6108 by Prophet, a maternal sister to the Number 1 active sire for RE EPD FF Rito 2Q26 by Tour of Duty and the outcross donor Basin Lucy 1037 whose flush sister is the dam of the exciting young sire, Basin Yuma. Add these features to a complete offering that includes 48 females in the top 10% for $B index, 46 females in the top 10% for $W, 26 females that rank in the top 10% for Marb and 27 in the top 10% for RE and 14 females with “double digit” CED and the “STARS” shine even brighter. On this single day in January you will have the opportunity to purchase genetics that can transform your program. Join us of January 23 and help yourself to the “Stars of Texas”. If I can assist you in any way, please contact me at 903-571-7950. See you in Fort Worth. Regards,
Robbie D. Bean

PowerSource caught the attention of several cowboys who agree that he is one of the thickest ended and most powerfully constructed young bulls out there. He is a high performance bull that is structurally sound, travels on good feet and legs and exhibits tremendous power. PowerSource scanned an impressive 18.2 sq in ribeye along with an IMF Score of 6.64%! His combination of high Growth and Carcass EPDs are further validated by his 50K data. Daughters of this great sire will be backed by several generations of high production females as his dam, maternal grandam and maternal great grandam are all members of the Express Donor Lineup. If you have been looking for that one bull that can put the Power back into your herd - consider the Source!
Use PowerSource to increase length of body and overall thickness. Use PowerSource to transmit carcass excellence to your calves. EXAR Upshot 0562B

THE WEIGHT GAIN IS REAL. Go ahead, blink.
A deworming with LONGRANGE (eprinomectin) can help keep parasites from eating into your profits. ®
If you used a conventional dewormer like CYDECTIN® (moxidectin), SAFE-GUARD® (fenbendazole) or in combination, your cattle are probably already reinfected with parasites. That’s because conventional dewormers only last 14 to 42 days and SAFE-GUARD has no persistent effect. Only LONGRANGE delivers up to 150 days of parasite control in a single treatment.1,2 When you look at the benefits of season-long parasite control with LONGRANGE – you’ll see you have a lot to gain.
Use LONGRANGE on your cow/calf operation and see the difference for yourself.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION LONGRANGE® (eprinomectin) should be given only by subcutaneous injection in front of the shoulder at the recommended dosage level of 1 mg eprinomectin per kg body weight (1 mL per 110 lb body weight). WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS Withdrawal Periods and Residue Warnings Animals intended for human consumption must not be slaughtered within 48 days of the last treatment. This drug product is not approved for use in female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older, including dry dairy cows. Use in these cattle may cause drug residues in milk and/or in calves born to these cows. A withdrawal period has not been established for pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal. Animal Safety Warnings and Precautions The product is likely to cause tissue damage at the site of injection, including possible granulomas and necrosis. These reactions have disappeared without treatment. Local tissue reaction may result in trim loss of edible tissue at slaughter. Observe cattle for injection site reactions. If injection site reactions are suspected, consult your veterinarian. This product is not for intravenous or intramuscular use. Protect product from light. LONGRANGE® (eprinomectin) has been developed specifically for use in cattle only. This product should not be used in other animal species. When to Treat Cattle with Grubs LONGRANGE effectively controls all stages of cattle grubs. However, proper timing of treatment is important. For the most effective results, cattle should be treated as soon as possible after the end of the heel fly (warble fly) season. Environmental Hazards Not for use in cattle managed in feedlots or under intensive rotational grazing because the environmental impact has not been evaluated for these scenarios. Other Warnings: Underdosing and/or subtherapeutic concentrations of extended-release anthelmintic products may encourage the development of parasite resistance. It is recommended that parasite resistance be monitored following the use of any anthelmintic with the use of a fecal egg count reduction test program. TARGET ANIMAL SAFETY Clinical studies have demonstrated the wide margin of safety of LONGRANGE® (eprinomectin). Overdosing at 3 to 5 times the recommended dose resulted in a statistically significant reduction in average weight gain when compared to the group tested at label dose. Treatment-related lesions observed in most cattle administered the product included swelling, hyperemia, or necrosis in the subcutaneous tissue of the skin. The administration of LONGRANGE at 3 times the recommended therapeutic dose had no adverse reproductive effects on beef cows at all stages of breeding or pregnancy or on their calves. Not for use in bulls, as reproductive safety testing has not been conducted in males intended for breeding or actively breeding. Not for use in calves less than 3 months of age because safety testing has not been conducted in calves less than 3 months of age. STORAGE Store at 77° F (25° C) with excursions between 59° and 86° F (15° and 30° C). Protect from light. Made in Canada. Manufactured for Merial, Inc., Duluth, GA, USA. In 2010, the Texas Angus Association (TAA) began a tradition of auctioning a donation heifer at the annual banquet to benefit Texas Angus youth. Participation in this program provides Texas Junior Angus Association (TJAA) members incentive to compete with their heifers at the Fort Worth Stock Show, as the top two finishers who are members in good standing of the TJAA qualify for a scholarship awarded by the TAA Endowment Scholarship Fund, recently renamed the Raymond Moore Memorial Endowment Scholarship Fund. This year we are pleased to offer five embryo packages to benefit the Raymond Moore Memorial Endowment Scholarship Fund.
PLEASE HELP US THANK THE EMBRYO PACKAGE DONORS FOR THEIR GENEROUS CONTRIBUTION.
