Cattle must be paid for before they are released. * Customers leaving cattle at Heritage Cattle are encouraged to carry an insurance policy. HOW TO BID: 1. Visit www.dvauction.com 2. Log-in If you already have an account, go to our sale page and request a bidder number. 3. If you do not already have an account you can create one under the “create a new account” tab. Please do so at least 24 hours prior to bidding, initial registration requires a credit card for verification or bank information. 4. Tune into the sale and make your purchase! AUCTION FORMAT AND CLOSEOUT When the sale opens, you can bid anytime throughout the day. The sale closes at 6:00 p.m. CST on September 26. If anyone bids within 5 minutes of 6:00 p.m., 5 more minutes will be added to allow the contending bidder fairness to bid again. This is why the countdown clock may say there is :30 seconds remaining, then jump back up to 5:00 minutes. If you are interested in buying, we suggest being around a computer or phone to bid until at least 7:00 p.m. OR use the proxy bid feature. Don’t forget to REFRESH your screen during this time so that you are seeing the most up-to-date bid. When the sale closes, DV will automatically send an email to the winning bidder saying they bought the lot.

* Each animal will become the buyer’s responsibility as soon as sold. We are not responsible for accidents, but will make every effort to provide for the safety and comfort of cattle ad attendees. * Breeding Guarantee: Buyers of the Brahman females will receive 2 straws of semen from Heritage on each heifer purchased. It is the responsibility of the buyer to breed their heifer either by A.I. or natural service. If a heifer does not become pregnant, Heritage reserves the right to try for a six month period to breed the heifer. If the female proves to be a non breeder, a female of comparable rank, or credit on the purchase of another heifer will be offered. * Cattle for Export: All cattle sold for export must be paid in full immediately following the sale or within one week after the sale by wire transfer. Seller will supply all necessary health testing required for export. Care will be provided by Heritage Cattle for a reasonable time. Cattle staying longer than 30 days will be charged a board fee. Additional transporting cost to the border or airport will be paid by the buyer. Health Insurance is encouraged on cattle remaining at Heritage.
