BRC: A RANCH BUILD ON SPIRIT
In 20 countries across 6 continents, ranchers just like you are placing their trust in BRC to deliver Brahman cattle that outperform other bloodlines generation after generation. Standing on the shoulders of seven generations of Brahman breeders, B.R. Cutrer has roots dating back to the earliest settlers in Texas. And while our brand is synonymous with tradition, it is our unwavering spirit of service and innovation that keeps us at the top of an evolving beef industry.
CHAMPION SPIRIT
The mark of a true champion extends far beyond the show ring. At BRC, we take pride in our championship cattle, but it’s the small and steady wins that keep us in the game. Our global leading sires and females are proof of our commitment to taking the long view, and then showing up day after day to do the work. For us, the champion spirit can never be defeated, and it shows in our undefeated bloodlines.
FAMILY SPIRIT
Even more than all-star genetics, our ranch is built on the quality of our people. The cattle who roam our ranch — and our ranch itself — wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for our outstanding teams. From sweeping the barn to analyzing phenotypes, every single job is approached with care and integrity. We’re a family business and our strong family spirit is what keeps us ahead of the curve.

COMMUNITY SPIRIT
Ultimately, what drives us is the customers we serve. Spread across 6 continents and over 20 countries, our customers make us who we are. Even if we’re separated by long distances, we’re able to connect with over 1.5 million viewers per month across our social media channels. This vibrant community spirit lets us know that we’re exactly where we’re meant to be, doing exactly what we’re meant to do.
OF BRC.
MOLLIE, BRANDON, ANNIE AND RACHEL CUTRER
In the summer of 2022 - that’s less than 3 years since it’s formation - BRC was named BIF Seedstock Producer of the Year. That’s the #1 registered cattle operation in the United States.
We’re blazing a new trail for Brahman cattle in the beef industry. And when it comes to excellence, innovation, and service - we’re just getting started.

It started in 2002 when Rachel - then 23 years old- purchased Miss V8 98/6, a show heifer from a junior family who’s daughter just graduated high school for $5000.
![](https://assets.isu.pub/document-structure/221010154618-669c7b0adfa7085ff18e8b50d1579a0b/v1/4908686137104723b9ec69102922d3bc.jpeg)
And now, 22 years later, that $5000 investment has turned into one of the greatest cow families of all time in the Brahman breed. And without a doubt, the greatest polled cow family of the breed. It’s the cow family that produced Noble. Noble is regarded as in the top of the upper echelon of the greatest sires in Brahman history, having provided critical and valuable relevant beef industry traits that have improved the economics, performance, and conformation standards of the Brahman world.
Lots 1 and 2 are full sibs, and Lot 3 is a 3/4 sib - all double bred 98 cow family - top and bottom!
This cow family is a catalyst in breed improvement. From a functional, maternal standpoint, they have perfect feet, outstanding udders, and long productive lives. They stand at the top of the class for show ring success over the last 20 years. In fact, the dam of lots 1, 2 and 3 is one of the only females in history to BEAT the legendary +BRC Boom Shaka Laka 21/8 when 103 was named Grand Champion at the San Antonio Stock Show over 21. They were both class winners in the senior division and 103 prevailed. And although a lot of her show carer was overshadowed by 21, 103 was also a division winner at the National Show and at Houston, though ultimately getting beat out by 21 at both of those shows.

The depth of cow power in this cow family is mindblowing. Just start looking at the females represented in this pedigree. Starting at the far back, you’ve got what many consider the greatest cow of the entire breedJDH Lady Ellis Manso, the mother of Elmo. Next, you’ve got 100/7 - the breed’s only polled National Champion female and dam of Noble. Then 510/6 - dam

Noble is currently the #2 ranked bull in the ABBA Register of Renown and continues to rack up points by his offspring that have dominated the show circuit for the last five years. His pedigree is stacked with breed icons, and all in all, 34 of his ancestors on a 5 generation pedigree were either Vanguard, Register of Renown, maternal merit, or a maternal performance sire.

It has been discussed around the barn multiple times about how similar Money Don’t Jiggle looks to Boom Box at the same age, and in fact may be just a touch further along right now. I know those are huge shoes to fill, because we all love Boom Box, but there is similar power, body mass, and muscle in this young stud. character and an unmatched look of quality…Yeah, we think this fella is pretty special and are excited to offer him half interest to the public.
On a mission to improve growth, maternal, and carcass? 240 could be the perfect choice to do it. Not only is he in the top 15% for his Total Maternal, REA, Frame Score, and Docility, but even more impressive, he ranks in top 5% or better for Weaning Weight, Yearling Weight, Scrotal Circumference, Tenderness, Carcass Weight, and both $ indexes. That is a pretty well rounded set of statistics to back up the way he is built and the way he is bred.

This Noble x 103 mating was out of this world; making 235/1 a full sib to Lot 1 and also to BRC Me Again Margret 154, the recent Reserve Grand Champion at the 2022 Washington County Fair. Noble has been stamping cattle with unmatched quality for years, and the 103/8 donor is easily in the top echelon donor list of BRC along with Sweetie, 21, and 835.
There is tremendous upside in this female’s unique combination of look and thickness. From the side, she’s elegant, stylish, and loaded with class, but step around behind her and that top and hip are something to marvel at. Big time show heifer prospect with a ton of donor potential.

Born light at 76 pounds, and then exploded to a contemporary group leading adjusted weaning weight of 585. That is impressive natural growth for as tough of a summer as we had. Take a hard look at her EPD figures and you’ll find 11 traits in the top 15% or better, including top 5% for 8 traits and top 1% for 3 traits. This
an opportunity to add an outlier for growth to your cow herd who can still boost maternal.

Here’s another 103 daughter except this one is sired by our top young powerhouse sire - 160. Since 160 is a Noble son, this makes her a ¾ sib to Lots 1 and 2. 160/8 is the most consistent producing herd bull at BRC in 2022. He’s the sire of BRC Hey Dude, BRC Hey Soul Sister, BRC Big Mamou, BRC Mira Aqui and many more. Lot 3 brings in the power of Noble and the 835/7 cow, who in turn brings in the Jenessa cow family on her sire’s side.
![](https://assets.isu.pub/document-structure/221010154618-669c7b0adfa7085ff18e8b50d1579a0b/v1/9e6df2f0bcfc4e7af03a06dd8046ee4e.jpeg)
An outlier in this sale offering, and quite possibly one of the most unique females we have ever sold of at BRC. She is so wide, so bold, and so incredibly thick… just like her sire. But it is the fact that she can float around on perfect feet and legs even with all that mass that really elevates her to the top level of the Brahman breed. Potential breed changer here.
It’s no easy task to rank in the top 1% of the breed for one trait, much less FOUR traits. This is something very few ranches, if any, can consistently breed time after time like BRC. Finders Keepers ranks at the top for WW, YW, CW, and Total Maternal. A breeder wanting to improve growth and performance in-herd could easily start producing breed performance leaders in one generation by implementing 240 into their donor cow battery.

Someone told us that just a few weeks ago at the Washington County Fair.
In 2017, we had the option to buy 775 as part of the Southern Cattle buyout. Truth be told, 775 was one of the driving reasons we were so interested in the whole deal. Because cows like 775 don’t come around every day. These are once in a lifetime cows.
Lots 4 and 5 are a three-way blend of the 4/5, Lupita, and 98 cow families.
![](https://assets.isu.pub/document-structure/221010154618-669c7b0adfa7085ff18e8b50d1579a0b/v1/618a719931629f569f9a1563cae2321d.jpeg)
There are a lot of things we find fascinating about 775. Visually, she deserves to be recognized as the model of functional Brahman females. She’s very moderate framed, feminine, sound structured, and has one of the most beautiful udders at the ranch at the age of 10. When Lee Leachman visited BRC in 2019, she was his #1 pick of the entire cow herd.
From a pedigree standpoint, she’s a rare gem. Her dam, 14/6 is a big, powerful Powerstroke daughter that is super impressive visually and big bodied. Her granddam is the very special 4/5 cow, who just so happens to be owned by our great friends and a mentor to Brandon: the Dickens family in Mississippi.
Our first mating with 775 produced BRC 805/8, the 2021 International Grand Champion Female. The 805 female really represents the Modern American Brahman that BRC is known for. So lots 4 and 5 are half-sisters to that great 805 cow.

After the success of 805, we “swung for the fence” as Brandon says, and bred 775 to our hardest hitting sire for muscle and bone: 160. When you infuse the 160 bloodline, you’re getting the power of both Noble, and the maternal strengths of the Jennessa cow family.
ONCE IN A LIFETIME COWS

Literally, this lot combines two of the greatest cow families in BRC history.
Again, females like this don’t come around every day. Don’t let it be you who is saying “I wish I would have...” when you look back at these females in ten years. Your future is built around the decisions you make today.

Rock Me Mama
When the judge at Brenham described 250 and 251 as “herd bull makers with show stopping style” at the top of the class in their first show, Brandon’s face lit up. That was exactly what he had in mind when he drew up this mating. This female is bold, moderate sized, easy fleshing, focused on longevity traits, but still has the look it takes to compete.
![](https://assets.isu.pub/document-structure/221010154618-669c7b0adfa7085ff18e8b50d1579a0b/v1/ed150aad21eb71bbb3358eb9b2ca7705.jpeg)

Lots 4 and 5 are full sisters, and they’re similar yet different. A strategic breeder would actually buy both. 250 may be a shot bolder ribbed and squarer hipped. Others will argue for 251’s smoothness and femininity. They are so similar, and so hard to split, but one thing is certain… they are both great ones and we can’t wait for our customers to have the opportunity to add them to their program.
Balance is a term that gets thrown around loosely, but we feel these females exemplify balance in its truest form. They start with a balanced phenotype that represents function, fleshing ability, and a correct structural build. Past that, 250 has a birth weight in the 60’s, yet stays in the top ¼ of all Brahman cattle for growth, maternal, docility (gentle disposition), and a majority of carcass traits. That’s as real world as it gets. That’s the Modern Brahman of BRC.
Havana Daydreamer is another surefire example of the Modern American Brahman, built at BRC. A half sister to BRC 805/8, the 2021 International Grand Champion Female, she has that same moderation of frame, femininity, and functional body type. But, she brings in the extra boldness, 3-dimensional build, and natural thickness we consistently find in our 160 sired cattle.

A judge called her a “Future Bull Maker” at her first show. Let’s not kid ourselves…these females are “Everything Makers!” They’re the kind that raise a herd bull and then turn around and raise your high selling heifer who turns into a great show heifer and cow. These females represent our vision of what this breed can and should look like. Investing on these females is becoming a shareholder in the future of Brahman.
These females are neat because they are both high end growth cattle that can increase lbs weaned and yearling performance without increasing mature cow weights and maintenance cost. Isn’t that the goal? Increase outputs and decrease inputs by moderating frames size while adding bone and thickness. Take your pick and don’t look back, these are no miss cow prospects.

“Being an Outlier in the Brahman Business” - Brandon Cutrer, BRC
Not everyone is going to be a success in the Brahman business. Sadly, a lot of breeders don’t even make it 5 years. Brandon Cutrer discusses how to build the elusive program of success in the Brahman business: a long lasting, profitable, happy ranching operation that will be remembered for generations to come. He’ll discuss the key decisions and factors that impact a Brahman breeders bottom line and, if you’re not on the right track now, how to turn your program around.

“Where Do You Want To Be In 10 Years” - Rachel Cutrer, BRC
Many Brahman breeders have a vision of expanding, adding more cattle, and achieving higher sales prices in the next five to ten years. But, how do you do it? BRC is a shining example that new brands, and new breeders can make it in the Brahman business if you do things the right way. Rachel will explain the basics of pricing your cattle, determining value on cattle you may purchase, building a long-lasting brand in a sea of short term fads, and how operations can effectively market their cattle whether they’re new or old, large or small.

Introducing the coolest private treaty sale offering of the year!
BRC is known for creating new ways to make buying Brahman cattle fun! This year’s Night of Champions private treaty sale is similar to the NFL draft. We will have 12 draft picks. Ten will be sold in our online store. One will go to the most active bidder in our online sale, and one is a surprise.
Draft picks sell for $500, which will be applied towards your selection’s purchase price. This also gives you 4 complimentary tickets to the concert.

The draft will be held Friday, October 21st, during the Night of Champions concert. The draft order will be drawn out of the hopper. When your pick is called, we will “introduce” your ranch and family, you’ll come on stage (while some cool theme music is playing) and you’ll make your draft pick from over 30 unbelievable BRC private treaty items. Items will be priced individually from $500 to $50,000. You can also make your draft pick via phone or text. After the 12 official draft choices are made, the board will open up to the public for a 12 hour period at the event and in our online store. We promise there will be something for everyone and that you’ll love it!
Each family or ranch in the draft who attend in person will also receive a mystery gift bag, with a bonus gift. The prizes will get continually better (in our opinion) as your numbers are drawn. So, the last pick of the draft will likely get the “best” mystery gift bag.
