We are fresh off an 11 day stretch where we didn’t get above 0. This was after receiving over 3 ft of snow. Yes. Feet. Somehow, we got to where we could get the bulls on the forthcoming pages pictured, and, will head out for the Cattlemens Congress in OKC on New Years Eve Day. It will be a welcome respite from the rigors of the ranch over the last several weeks, both for the crew, and, the bulls.
About the those bulls. What a SET. Led off with the freshest and most sought after genetics in North America that also happen to be scarce in the 2 future Herd Sires by Royalla Rockstar. Old standbys that become more valuable by the day in the McCoy’s. The first son by the recent ST Genetics acquisition, JSF Ronan 5H, to sell on auction, anywhere. A full sib to Foreplay. Elite sons of past high sellers from our very own barn in Times Square, Battlefront and Chrome. Speaking of high sellers, a real feature is 8 sons by another high seller himself, JSF Palermo 172H, herd bull for Paint Valley Farms in OH. Paternal sibs to the high selling females on Durham Nation last fall, they represent further proof Palermo is one of the most prepotent sires in the breed today. Additionally, there is another new sire group that will leave people wanting more come 1-28, the Clout’s. They bring an element of performance to the table not recently experienced here, and, wow…are they ever good. Then, there’s the old standby, Reincarnation. His 2022 born set of sons is his best ever, easily, led by a pair of promotion quality bulls, followed up by a few more the industry could sure use more of.
