Hi Folks, I hope all is well with you and yours! What an amazing time to be in the Hereford cattle business! I, like many of you, can’t ever remember a time when these cattle were in this kind of demand. After a tremendous amount of thought, we have decided to offer this group of cattle. We offer this group with a tremendous amount of pride as these cattle represent where we are and where we are heading. I won’t use up all this space in the catalog to talk about the cattle, as I believe they speak for themselves. This is the absolute highest quality set of cows that we could have ever imagined to put together for your inspection and I thank you. In this group are cows with lots of miles ahead of them yet, some top shelf show heifer prospects, replacement quality bull and heifer calves, a few show steer prospects and one yearling bull that we believe can be a game changer! I do want to thank all of our past customers for supporting our program. It’s always humbling to have our cattle viewed by so many of you all over the country. A big thanks to all of our Hereford friends. There are far too many of you to begin to thank here, but you know who you are. Your friendships, partnerships and support over the years will never ever be forgotten. Thank you! A big thanks to our guest consignors again this year. They have brought some good ones to the sale and I encourage you to give these consignments your very best look. These guests are good friends with strong families and their futures are big in the Hereford cattle business. I want to thank Lance, the guy who keeps this whole thing going every day. He has guts and the kind of blood, sweat and tears he’s put into this operation can’t be measured but only appreciated. I appreciate his friendship the most! A big thank you to Jared for everything he does for our family and gutting out these tough Wisconsin winters. I wish I had half of his patience! I’m truly blessed to have these two cowboys around. I thank Ben and his family for all that they do as well. Their passion for these cattle always impresses me. I can’t ever thank my mom and dad enough for what they have done and continue to do for this family. Our family farm is celebrating 100 years of being a family farm this year! The farm has changed over the years, but what has never changed and never will is our love of the land and each other. My folks have their fingerprints all over this farm and we all have a lot to look up to. They continue to teach us and guide us every day. I’ve always been proud to call myself Chuck and Barb’s middle boy! Lastly, thank you to Jes and the kids. Jes continues to be my rock. She always keeps the kids and I moving in the right direction and we thank her for everything she does for us. Watching Ally and Cade grow with their cousins continues to be the time of my life. Seeing the world through the eyes of a child is something that has always come easy for me and I treasure every day of it! I invite you all to Western Wisconsin the first weekend in October. There will be a social and a viewing of the cattle Friday evening and the sale on Saturday, October 4th at noon. If you need help with transportation, just give a holler anytime. As always, I thank you for sharing with me your very most precious commodity, your time! Take good care of yourselves, Andy
I want to welcome everyone to the Built to Last Annual Production Sale here at the farm in Wilson, Wisconsin. For those who haven’t heard of us, we are a 135-cow herd located in northwest Wisconsin. We use AI and ET to some extent but are mostly a bull-bred herd. Our bulls were brought in based on maternal strength, feet and legs, rib shape, and eye appeal. We are offering at this auction the majority of our mature cows and some of our 2-year-olds. While calving season was winding down, we neared 2/3 heifer calves. With over 40 head in the replacement pen, we needed to make a decision about the herd to not expand beyond our facility and labor means. The vast majority of the females selling have at least one daughter being retained in the herd. The 2008 and older females have been the foundation which this herd was built on, never thought of as something we’d offer for sale. The young cows were built and bred to be the future. We hope to see you in western Wisconsin the first Saturday of October. For those who can’t make it, we have a tremendous sale staff that will be happy to help find the females that best suit you and your operation. Lance

WINDY HILLS Dear Fellow Hereford Breeders and Cattlemen, Welcome to this year’s “Built To Last Sale” Production Sale, hosted by Lamb Brothers along with guest consignors Windy Hills Herefords, Steiny’s Polled Herefords, Dalton’s Polled Herefords, and the White Ranch. Each one of these families have dug deep into their respective programs to offer show heifer prospects and future matrons, sired by some of the top sires in the breed; a set of proven and productive cows and bred females, backed by breed leading genetics; some stout herd sire prospects, along with a few steers, and some embryo packages. The beef cattle industry is at an all time high. The demand for quality genetics is not only strong but as important as ever. The commitment to the beef cattle industry and the Hereford Breed that Lamb Brothers possess is evident and real. As you study this catalog you will find that Lamb Brothers have invested a lot of time and money building their program. No corners were cut, and only breed leading genetics from breed leaders throughout North America and Canada were purchased and used. In doing this, Lamb Bros. have positioned themselves for the long haul as a seed stock producer/source; providing proven, predictable, performance oriented seed stock to Hereford Breeders and Commercial Cattlemen - A genetic source that is Built to Last. Andy’s enthusiasm and energy is inspiring. He has a deep passion for the cattle business and the folks that are part of it, and he values the friendships and partnerships that he has made over the years. Lance’s dedication to this herd, and the Hereford Breed is unmatched and never ending. This combination makes the friendships and partnerships Built To Last as well. The guest consignors and breeders offering is straight from the heart of their respective herds. Each family let Cody and I practically pick the cattle to put in the sale, and they are bringing the best they have. • We are selling a don’t miss opportunity with this mating. Steiny’s 421P Genny 179S has produced several class winners and division champions and also two overall reserve champions for Steiny’s Herefords. When we were in Denver this past winter, we got excited about CRR 719 Catapult 109 and what he could do in our herd. I told my wife we need to flush Genny to him so, here we are. Catapult 109 is the “REAL DEAL” folks. He and his calves in the Yards were truly impressive and he was also impressive in the ring. • Bring your tank to the sale and take them home with you. Buyer is responsible for shipping and handling. Shipping will be done by Trans Ova.
