Talk about a star studded pedigree, this BABY DOLL’S dam is a straight V8 bred cow with 12 of 14 Register of Renown ancestors in her pedigree. Only her parents are not there yet. This adds value to a pedigree because of how hard it is for an animal to earn enough points to enter the prestigious Register of Renown. Add to that, the fact that she is sired by our popular LMC LF Ambassador and you have the right genetics to help you get started in the POLLED Brahman business in a very strong way. LMC Polled Sweetheart is super gentle, moderate, big boned, very feminine, balanced and is loaded with muscle, breed character and that special look of a winner. Her paternal sister, LMC Polled Spice has won over 20 shows for Winston Walters including the Houston Jr. Show, the San Antonio Open Show and the $10,000 awarded at the San Antonio Jr. Show. Of more importance is when we get calls from breeders like Kelly Barnard bragging on how good the udders are on his Ambassador daughters and LMC Polled Spice, Lot 7’s paternal sibling. wanting more of them. Ambassador is such a consistent sire that it is hard to say which is the pick of the crop. Polled Sweetheart is in the running if she continues to develop like she has. Her dam has done an awesome job in this super tough drought. Whether you buy her to show or for a cow, she is going to make a positive impact on the breed. Semen on all LMC sires is available to AI or flush this future breed great. She qualifies for the LMC Jr. Program Benefits as will her calves that we will sell as a team. Don’t miss her !! LMC Goldminer is a proven top quality herd bull sired by the massive champion Smith James Outlaw bull and the $7,000 (1/2 interest) Goldmine daughter we sold Bud Wentz in MAS I. She is now owned by BETM Ranch and is an outstanding brood cow. When we went looking for some new blood to infuse into our program, we liked the Outlaw daughters, plus the bone and totality of the bull himself. Goldminer NEARS PERFECTION IN THE FLESH and has what it takes to take your program to the next level. He has a great bone to sheath ratio. If were not that his horrible drought has caused us to sell so many of our cows, this bull would not be for sale. He is a TRAFFIC STOPPER and is THE RIGHT KIND TO BUILD A HERD AROUND. We sold a MAS champion steer that was a maternal sib by Gig’em to Hayden McGhee for $3,000 who went on to win Reserve Grand of the 80+ head STAR Steer Show. Goldminer’s API index is in the top 17%. There is a demand for a new outcross Lot 8’s maternal grandsire, SS Goldmine. black bull to use on the Powerhouses, LMC EF JW Blacks, Mr. Strack L252’s, Smith Nu Wave II’s, etc. Here he is! 100 % sells ! KBPB Evolution 1Z – 135 is a 3/8 Simmental x 5/8 Brahman polled scurred herd bull prospect that can be used on Simmy cows to produce purebred Simbrah cattle. The bull that has sired and registered more Simbrah calves than any other is Red Hot,who was a 1/4 x 3/4 bull used on Simmy cows back in the 80’s. As the demand for Simbrahs and for more heat tolerant cattle grows, you will see more Simmy breeders breeding for Simbrahs. The number two bull in registrations was our ole Register of Renown sire – Ward’s Bravo proving once again the value of the Brahman blood in Simbrah cattle. Evolution is a deep bodied, very balanced black bull that is a paternal sib to the two 3/8 x 5/8 females that topped the LMC $ellabration selling for $12,000 apiece to BETM, 6G and LMC. The older is in transplant and the younger is being shown. Both will make a valuable contribution to Simbrah by bringing in Lot 9’s dam, LMC Polled NEW BLOOD to the breed. The dam to this bull as can be seen in the photo is a very capacious old Marina del Rey. school kinda cow that brings in eight generations of new POLLED Brahman blood to the breed. This bull and the two heifers mentioned were actually bred by our ole buddy Ronnie Smith who has a keen eye for bringing in new blood to the breed. This bull can also be used to raise American ABC Club calves and some very productive replacement females. His paternal grandsire is Dream On, who has been the most influential Simmy sire in the last ten years. 100% sells !! Both lots 10 & 11 are F-1 Simbrahs sired by Smith Hagan Vance N Red, a Simmy bull who also sired Brown Eyed Girl that sold in MAS VII for $3,500 to La Morra Ranch, who turned down a profit right after the sale. There are very few F-1 Simbrahs being produced today, but they are the one female that can produce all three popular Simbrah percentages by simply breeding to a different sire every time. The F-1 has proven to us time and time again to be the hardiest in the toughest of times like the drought we are fighting now. These heifers were actually bred by the late Bud Wentz who had a big time appreciation for F-1 Simbrahs as this is how he and Edmund Tom grew the Simbrah breed in it’s infancy. They would provide good Simmy bulls to Brahman breeders and buy every F-1 heifer produced. I saw them average over $6,000 on a set of F-1’s raised by their cooperators in the early 80’s which is one of the reasons we started breeding Simbrahs. F-1 cattle get the job done !! They are also great to produce American club calves when bred to a third breed bull. Same semen offer for both Lots 10 & 11.

Both Lots 12 & 13 are 3/4 sisters, sired by a 1/2 Braunvieh x 1/2 Angus Herd Sire named BOR Reverend, bred by our ole buddy Larry Struthof of Broken Oak Ranch. Their dams are sired by JE Eli, a Full Fleck bull that we bought at a TSSA Sale from our ole buddy Jim Etheridge. These heifers make up a perfect composite being 1/4 Angus, 1/4 Brahman, 1/4 Braunvieh and 1/4 Simmental, which combine fertility, milk, marbling and heat tolerance in one package. We have some paternal sisters to Reverend that are some darn good cows. If we had the grass, I would love to own every Simbravieh heifer we have ever sold as they are some of the best cows we have ever owned. Two units of semen from any of our LMC Bulls that is available will be offered to AI each heifer. There is a Simbravieh Heifer Division in the TCCA for the next three years. The past three years there has been less than 10 junior Simbravieh heifer exhibitors, which is a very economical way to win a coveted TCCA Jacket Sire of Lots 12 and 13, Mr. BOR 1893R with minimal showing plus end up with a top quality American cow to boot. aka The Reverend.

Lots 14 & 15 are sired by our Senior Simbravieh Herd Sire – LMC LF Braveheart, whose pedigree is rock solid being sired by the 2008 International Champion LMC Johnnie Walker Simbrah bull and out of the famous FG Bess Braunvieh donor. She is also the dam to the famous WTR Baylee donor that we flushed to 11 different sires of three breeds with every calf selling for a good premium. We are very impressed with our Braveheart daughters as is Dean Fuchs, who just invested in ten outstanding Simbravieh cows with Braveheart calves. He thought enough of the bull that he invested in 1/2 of the bull. We look for Dean to raise the bar on Simbravieh and WELCOME the Fuchs family into the Simbravieh breed.

RGV Cattle has reached as deep as possible to bring you some great lots for this sale. Liberty is our headliner. She would definitely not be for sale if we were not in such a miserable drought. We only had one babydoll show heifer prospect that was old enough to sell so that made us reach for some of our momma cows. Our loss; your gain –simple as that. Liberty is a fancy, black daughter of LMC Gladiator, who is one of the more powerful, moderate bulls LMC has ever produced. Liberty is the dam to Freedonia, whom is now owned by LMC. Freedonia is the dam to LMC U Bet who was Reserve Champion at the first Synergy Show. U Bet is now owned by Smith and Southwestern Farms. Freedonia also is the dam to Matthew Salinas’ LMC Kiska whom was undefeated in class. Liberty also is the dam to RGV Liberty Belle whom sold in MAS VII to Jorge Uriegas for $2,300. Liberty sells bred to one of my bulls. Due to the drought and sheer luck, I was able to obtain a large CRP property for lease. Out of desperation, I put the whole herd together, including my two bulls – LMC/LF Bosco and LMC Superstar. She has blood tested bred and RGV Cattle Co agrees to pay or reimburse for parentage verification on the calf if necessary. We will have DNA on both bulls on file soon. The first Bosco and Superstar babies were born in March/April and they are impressive. A bred, proven female that would add to anyone’s herd!

Fancy Lady is a black, thick, heavy boned bred heifer sired by the many times champion, BCC Majestic and out of our champion Firefly cow that we own with Klarissa Cantu. Firefly was bred by Klarissa and has done an awesome job for us. Firefly is one of only three progeny out of the great LMC Cornerstone. Cornerstone was a Milestone son out of 5D/98, making him a maternal brother to the great 5M/9 cow. So yes, indeed, this female traces genetics back to the lines that produced the great Diva, $42,000 Dream Girl, and the $41,000 Redream! Klarissa is currently at Texas A&M and would greatly appreciate any bids on this fancy heifer to help further her education! Again, this heifer has blood tested bred and sells bred to one of our bulls – Bosco or Superstar. RGVCC agrees to pay or reimburse for parentage verification on the resulting calf – same condition as the cow above. A really good female that should be in anyone’s keeper herd!

We have been breeding Red Brahmans for over 20 years and are very proud of how they have done and the market that we have established for them. For many years now, they have been in high demand, not only domestically, but to foreign markets as well. Over the years, we have used these Red Brahmans to develop our Simbrah herd as well. For this reason, we decided to consign this Red Brahman show heifer to the MAS Sale. Lilly Ray is long sided, ultra feminine, angular and plenty thick. She is loaded with breed character and comes in a pretty and attractive package. Lilly Ray is sired by the Register of Renown sire 3H X-Ray which is the sire to many of today's great sires such as Bronson and Sting Ray. Her polled dam is sired by a polled Happy Valley bull that was bred by our good friend, Rick Reeves and goes back to our Red Racca bull and the great 659. LN Lilly Ray will be a good investment whether she goes into a Red Brahman herd or she becomes a foundation female in a progressive Simbrah herd. If you are looking for a cow that is a proven producer with great genetics look no further. Miss May fits the bill! She has had all her calves unassisted and does a great job raising them. She is out of LMC Red Buck 3S/47, a great 3/4 bull that LPJ purchased from La Muneca. She has also proven herself in the show ring by placing in the top of her class. We are downsizing our herd, and regrettably have to sell Miss May. She is ready to get to work for her new owner. She sells open with two units of Rajin Cajun semen.

In keeping with MAS tradition, we are offering top quality cattle with top shelf genetics. This TCAT daughter, we call Misty, is a prime example. She was Mikey's show heifer that proved herself in the show ring by winning calf champion and reserve grand champion Simbrah at the 2007 San Antonio Livestock show in the junior show. This cow has also proved herself in the pasture by being fertile and producing quality calves for us every year. Parting with her was not an easy decision; however, we are willing to provide others the opportunity for great genetics. She would make a welcome addition in anyones herd. LMC TCAT Muneca sells open with two units of semen to Rajin Cajun, who is one of the premier 3/4 bulls in the Simbrah world.

This heifer is Alex's last heifer project of her cattle showing career. Alex is graduating from ENHS with honors and heading to Texas A & M to begin a new chapter in her academic career. We bought this heifer at the last MAS sale from our good friends at La Morra Ranch. This heifer has great show qualities; she is big topped, deep sided, and structurally correct as they come. She did well for Alex this past year and is still eligible to show next year. Her genetics speak for themselves along with her looks. She sells open with 2 units of Rajin Cajun semen.

In this offering, we are sharing our very best Simbrah genetics with you and parting ways with this powerful, but yet feminine looking show heifer and donor prospect was hard. J7N Zabrina is deep sided, has a big top, possesses the volume and spring of rib needed to compete as a top show heifer prospect and is as capacious as any heifer we have seen. We are sure she will impress you. Along with the power package she possesses, she has great extension which makes her look very fancy. J7N Zabrina is a BCC Boomerang daughter out of our donor, LMC BETM Walflower. Boomerang has produced his share of champions for us at La Morra Ranch, our good friends at Freasier Ranch, Keith Willey and the Bettice families. LMC BETM Walflower is an LMC VG Go Getter daughter that we purchased at the 2010 Synergy Sale from our good friends, Carlos Guerra and Dr. Ernest Guerra. We are so impressed with her first two calves that we have moved Walflower into our donor pool. Walflower has definitely not disappointed us. Fertility is an important in any breeding program and J7N Zabrina has this attribute covered. J7N Zabrina is the second natural born calf out of our donor LMC BETM Walflower and she was born 10 months, 28 days after her maternal sister, J7N Yours Truly, which we sold last year at MAS VII to Smith Farms for $10,000 for one-half interest. This heifer sells open and is eligible for all of La Morra sponsored events. J7N Zabby is a heavy muscled, long and feminine looking black show heifer prospect with lots of style. Zabby is sired by our junior herd sire, J7N Whiskey River, the 2010 Reserve National Champion bull and out of our Cristal cow. Fred Grahmann saw Cristal last year and fell in love with this beautiful cow and we expect that once you see Zabby, you will fall in love with this powerful heifer. Whiskey River is a JW Black son out of great donor cow, M9. M9 progeny excels in the sale ring. Most recently, M9 daughters and granddaughters sold for record numbers in 2012 Synergy and M9 progeny continued at this year’s $ellebration II, where a show heifer sold for over $40,000. But Whiskey River heifers have held their own as well averaging over $7,000. Zabby is sound moving, exhibiting a long and level hip, is big footed and walks soundly. I predict greatness in this December heifer so don’t be left in the cold. Although she might be the youngest calf in our offering, she should definitely be on your radar. J7N Zerendipity will be a sale day favorite that will command your attention. Here is a baby doll show heifer prospect that is destined to be a donor cow some day. J7N Zerendipity is both powerful, but yet elegant and balanced throughout being moderately framed, smooth shouldered and sound on her feet. A couple of years ago, 6G Ranch along with La Muneca Cattle introduced a young herd sire by the name of Ragin Cajun, which is sired by the great Net Investment Simmental bull. In a very short time, Ragin Cajun has taken Simbrah cattle to another level. J7N Zerendipity is a first calf out of 6G MS Net Effect, which is a paternal sister to the Ragin Cajun bull. We purchased 6G MS Net Effect from 6G Ranch, knowing that she was a great cow and we needed to infuse new Simmental genetics in our Simbrah cattle and we are not at all disappointed with her first calf. Not to be overshadowed, Zerendipity is sired by our junior herd sire, J7N Whiskey River our JW Black son out of our M9 donor. Genetically speaking, this mating does not get much better. M9 progeny with JW Black on one side, Net Investment, a Dream On son, along with Monte Christo Ranch breeding (maternal granddam), who is known for fertile cattle on the other side. If you ask me, this is an all around win. J7N Zerendipity sells open and is eligible for all of La Morra sponsored events. With that being said in order to consign some of our very best, we now have to consign cattle that we have bought in the past due to the size of our small, but elite herd. We purchased Kendra in a past Synergy sale from La Muneca to add to our solid set of Simbravieh females. Kendra’s sire, Vista Foresight, is a consistent producer of good-looking functional females and she is no exception. Kendra’s dam is a 3/4 Simmental x 1/4 Brahman cow that is stacked genetically with SCC Black Cat on the top and the reliable LMC Money on the bottom of the pedigree. She is a beautiful, solid colored female with lots of extension and expression of rib. This young female is moderate and should make an efficient and productive mamma cow. She sells bred to LMC Arcadio, who has sired some stout calves out of our other Simbravieh cows. However, we feel we have some of the best up and coming cattle in the breed including Mr. BETM Niner, who she sells bred to and we want to share their influence with the Simbrah World. Niner calves are here and they are stout. The Niner x 152 mating may be her best yet as they complement each other’s phenotype well. This cow has sold a good-looking show heifer to Clay Harmon for us, as well as two other heifers to the Kellers and La Muneca. We also have retained two other daughters that we kept for our own herd. As you can see she has thrown us a lot of heifer calves and is a big boned cow with plenty of performance and extension. Her sire is a former high seller sired by the popular WLE Overload bull and out of a functional Ward’s Bravo daughter that generated lots of revenue for Guerra Bros. and La Muneca. On the bottom you have the likes of BLC Monopoly, LMC Mariah and several other greats that have made Simbrah the great breed it is today. The LMC Arcadio babies are here and the 2011 National Champion Bull has fulfilled our expectations and then some. This young LMC Black Gold daughter is one of the longest bodied females we have ever had here at BETM Ranch and is very gentle. This well-balanced young cow has a lot of future ahead of her and would be a great addition to any herd. She is double polled and backed by solid numbers. Her maternal grandsire PMS Second Coat did a phenomenal job for La Muneca and we are actually using him in our ET program in order to take advantage of his maternal power and performance. Her paternal grandsire is the SS Goldmine bull, who has been used with lots of success by Simbrah breeders including La Negra Cattle Company. She sells exposed to Mr. BETM Niner and you receive two units of semen on LMC Arcadio with your purchase of 256. Semen must be picked up by 6/21/14. BUY HER HEIFER CALF FOR A POSSIBLE 3 IN 1 PACKAGE! We will be splitting 256’s heifer calf sired by the 2011 National Champion Bull LMC Arcadio on sale day. 5W Sky's The Limit-Dam of Lot 67

The Sky's The Limit Group originated in 2011, when I was looking for a way to help the AJSR scholarship fund grow. I decided to offer my show heifer as a donation lot at MAS. A generous group of breeders, consisting of Gilbert Galvan, Benny Cano Family, James Cano Family, La Morra Ranch, LMC, Rene Vela Family, Joe Mask Family, Dean Fuchs Family, BETM Ranch, South Cattle Investments, Jimmy Grant Family, Schultz Family, Pepe Guerra Family and Thunder Cattle Co., purchased her for $7000, which 100% of this was added to the AJSR scholarship fund. As part of the arrangement, all of "Sky's" progeny will be sold at 100%, as well. This bull calf, 5W Sky Rocket, is her first calf, and will be offered with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the AJSR scholarship fund. Sky Rocket is sired by Rhino, who was the 2011 International Champion Bull and the 2011 Reserve National Champion Bull. Sky Rocket is a solid red bull calf that is structurally sound, has a clean sheath, thick bodied and stands on a large foot with plenty of bone. He will be weaned and ready to go at six months of age. Don't miss this opportunity for a great bull calf and a chance to help a lot of kids who will benefit from this scholarship fund. Thank you for your support. Maycie Wells

In the summer of 2005, a group of young, progressive Simbrah breeders established a marketing group named Marketing American Simbrah. Commonly referred to as MAS, which translates MORE is exactly MAS’s vision — placing More Simbrahs in More cattlemen’s pastures in MORE markets-not only in Texas, but worldwide. MAS is spinning off the momentum created by the best Simbrah we have ever raised with a market for these cattle that has never been as hot and demanding as now. A big hearty thanks goes out all of our supporters for making MAS VII another great Simbrah event. The total MAS Simbrah VII sale averaged $4,158 on 66 lots and was the first all video sale fro the breed. Leo Casas was the auctioneer. In just seven years, MAS has sold 1029 lots for $2,743,213 for a $2,666 average with over one-fourth of the offering yearling bulls. MAS has awarded over $165,000 in junior premiums and has raised over $220,000 for different scholarships and breed promotion. Carlos X Guerra, a founding member of MAS has always said, “A breed is only as good as its people”. With this in mind, MAS invests $21,000 every year in the future of Simbrah in premiums and prizes awarded at the MAS SIMBRAH SHOWDOWN & STAR MAS Steer Show to reward those juniors who have invested in MAS members’ programs. It is our intent to maintain both the MAS Sale and MAS SIMBRAH SHOWDOWN, as annual events in and effort to better serve commercial producers, seedstock producers and our youth. We encourage other Simbrah breeders throughout the Simbrah World to do the same by forming alliances like MAS, SYNERGY AND THE ELITE. The successful marketing of QUALITY IN QUANTITY can only be accomplished with spirited cooperation from several breeders working together with good leadership for a common goal. Last year MAS took a new approach with a new time of year and a new venue, plus we are tying our event with another event to make it worth everyone’s travel dollar. This year MAS is excited to be part of the big weekend in Wharton and the American Junior Simbrah Roundup, the national show for Simbrah junior exhibitors. It’s all shaping up to be a great weekend for the breed and we hope you are planning to be a part of it! The alliance of the MAS members creates a cow herd in excess of over 1,500 Simbrah cows in production, with 90% of those of being within a 40 mile radius in the Rio Grande Valley. MAS will use this concentration of top quality cows in production within this region as leverage to make South Texas THE SIMBRAH CAPITAL OF THE WORLD. As we bend the ear of more and more cattle producers with our united efforts, we are confident that Simbrah will be come the dominate breed in South Texas. By creating more commercial and junior field days, we can continue to build on old relationships and create new friends, too. This will help each and every breeder to assist our Simbrah needs. As MAS members, we have also added and created a $5,000 MAS Simbrah steer show at the South Texas Agricultural Roundup, benefiting Hidalgo County 4-H and FFA members who purchase steers from MAS members. MAS intends to gather and utilize carcass date on Simbrah sired steers to assist in creating new markets for Simbrah both domestically and foreign. MAS members combine over 200 years of experience in breeding and marketing Simbrah cattle as always, we appreciate your interest in MAS and if you have a recommendation for us, we will be glad to visit with you. We firmly believe there is no “I” in team, and as a group, we hope to fulfill not only our Simbrah goals, but yours as well. We are proud of our sale offering it is second to none and caters to the needs of any cattleman. We have much in store for the future of Simbrah and the entire cattle industry. Our events will be fun, education, and most importantly productive for every individual in order to help you attain your Simbrah goals. Please join us and help us celebrate SIMBRAH’S SUCCESS.
