-Enid Elva LL was the first herdsire to walk at Musgrave Angus in 1964. He is the sire of our foundation female, Lady Barbara 33 LL. Though this picture is vague, you can see his breed character passing through to the Lady Barbara family. The Lady Barbara's are largely responsible for our success in the Angus business. -A record crowd was in attendance for our 2018 sale. It was a landmark year for our new sale facility after the tragic fire of the previous sale barn just two months earlier. Musgrave 316 Colossal 137 was the second bull to set foot in the ring that day and was claimed the top seller at $68,000 to one of the premier Angus firms in North America, Peak Dot Angus & Semex.

Before the spring breeding season we make an annual trip to Billings, MT, to visit the three major bull studs. It has proven to be a very important trip, visual appraisal in sire selection is critical. Origen was our last stop on this trip and it's there we saw Sitz Feat. It was a weak in the knees experience and we knew he had to come to Pike County. This was the bull we've been looking for, everything worked - his feet are incredible, he had eye appeal to waste, a huge rear end, & more bone and stoutness than any Angus sire we've seen in a while.
