Sale Managed By: Ken Brubaker 540/908-5799 ken@brubakersales.com
Dear Friends, Welcome to our 7th annual production sale. It has been a wonderful year to be an angus cattleman. I don’t think I can remember a year when rain was this plentiful here in west central Georgia. I don’t think I can remember cutting this much grass in a year either! I may be tired of mowing grass and pastures, but the cattle have had the luxury of gorging themselves with lush grass all summer while having calves at their sides. The result is a healthy crop of calves. This year’s offering is rather simple. Any heifer born after March 1 is being sold along with the 1st four Bull calves to hit the ground this year. Nearly all of these heifers are out of our older and proven group of cows. This group of cows have been the foundation of our program for many years and we are happy to offer their offspring this year. The Bull calves we are offering this year are impressive as well. The bull calves are out of some of the pillars of our herd and should grow into fine herd bulls. Again, we thank you all for your interest in our 2021 offering. I feel confident these young cattle could be a foundation for your herd as they have ours. We look forward to hearing from you with any questions and hopefully a visit to the farm. Friends are always welcome here. Sincerely, Spencer Oliver
Dear Angus Friends, Welcome to the 7th Annual Oliver Production Sale The legacy continues with line-bred maternally efficient grass cattle at Oliver Angus. This offering is heavily influence by the “41” cow and her sons. You will find them in the pedigrees throughout the sale book. These are time-tested and proven bloodlines. The influence of “Breton of Wye” has been exceptional. He adds another generation of “Alap” along with the well-known female producer, “Leonid”. Be sure to review the videos at brubakersales or oliverangus.com. This will give you insight as to the goodness and functionality of these cattle. Please feel free to call with any questions or to pre-register. We are here to assist you in making good selection decisions. Best Regards, Ken Brubaker

The “Art” of Linebreeding The Impact of Great Cows
O Miss Alap L 2246-41 The “41” cow and her full sister “40” have been the foundation in the Oliver program. She is the dam of Herd Sires “97” and “147”. She has a progeny WR 12@110 on a 373-day calving interval. She is a daughter of the $28,000 Alap of Wye.
O Mr Banjo 41-147 Logo He is a direct son of the “41” Matriarch and by the well known female producer, “Banjo of Wye”. His influence sells throughout the offering as the Grandsire of many and many are linebred to him.
Mr Spen 128-147-330 Son of “147”
O Mr 120-147-410 Son of “147”
O Mr Casey 41-97 Another son of “41” by the $14,500 “Clarkson of Wye”. He blends “Favour” and the great Wye Pathfinder “6767” and the “41” cow. His influence can be found throughout the offering and you will find many calves that are linebred to this sire and his dam.
O Miss 97-41-281 She is the product of a son-dam mating. Sired by “97” and a direct daughter of “41”. She demonstrates the power in this gene pool and the ability for it to be linebred for consistency and prepotency. O Mr 97-120-234 He is the “heir apparent” to the “97” lineage and now resides at Happy Cattle Co in TX. Watch for more from this elite Sire.
2
Replacement Heifers These heifers are direct from the replacement pen and all have the credentials to become great grass cows anywhere in the Country. Oliver heifers are working in the South, East, West and Midwest. They all rank among the elite 1% for $EN.
