WELCOME TO THE 2021 STARS OF TEXAS

For 21 years, the Texas Angus Association has initiated our sale season in Texas with the Fort Worth “Stars”. Every year, TAA members have consigned better cattle by expanding the quality and performance requirements to be accepted as a “Star of Texas.” The 2021 breeders have embraced the heritage this sale has built by consigning the most comprehensive combination of “numbers, power and attractive” females we have ever had. This collection of genetics will widen the gap between good and elite, allowing you to elevate your breeding model or put you on the Angus map. 2020 has been a year of change, and we have also modified our Best of the West bull Sale. Our focus is the combination of quality, EPD profile and power, not how many we have for sale. These bulls are worthy of herd sire consideration by the pickiest Angus breeder or producer. Since the summer of 2020, I have encouraged all TAA members to come to Fort Worth and participate in the board meeting, walk through the cattle on display for the sales, and meet fellow Angus breeders from across the state. I believe it is important for all of us to engage with one another and to see, first hand, the cattle that are generating valuable interest. As always, call me with any questions
