he Ranney Annual Fund supports so many aspects of what our students love about their school: talented and caring teachers, hands-on experiential learning and unique offerings such as robotics, crew and the latest in technology and innovation. Your gift to the Ranney Fund is an investment that helps to change lives and impact futures. The Annual Fund significantly increases our ability to provide professional growth opportunities for our faculty; it consistently gives us additional resources to host guest speakers, visiting authors and student seminars. With your support to the Ranney Annual Fund, recent campus enhancements have included new classrooms for our Performing Arts Program, wireless microphones and special funding for plays and student performances, a renovation to the Walling Aquatic Center, the installation of the Panther Grandstands and Pressbox, new boats and a trailer for our growing crew program and a robotics lab along with new equipment and technology. The Annual Fund helps to make all of these enhancements possible; your support makes innovation a daily part of your child’s learning experience.

elivering a Ranney School education requires considerable resources, and tuition alone does not cover our operating expenses each year. As is true for most independent schools, Ranney’s annual budget is financed through four sources: tuition, summer programs, investment income and philanthropic support. The Ranney Fund, our annual giving program, contributes a vital measure of the resources we rely on each year to provide our students with extraordinary programs, exciting opportunities and innovative academic experiences. Unrestricted gifts provide flexibility, allowing the school to respond to evolving financial needs and provide essential resources which help manage an effective, safe, secure and resourceful environment while keeping tuition increases to a minimum.
W
e sincerely appreciate the generosity of those who par ticipate in the Ranney Annual Fund as it augments current operations and remains the school’s fundraising priority. The Fund suppor ts all of the work going on throughout our campus and we thank all of the parents, faculty and staff, alumni, grandparents and friends who help make a difference.
“Together we would like to express our sincere thanks for your consideration of a gift to the 2013-2014 Ranney Annual Fund. Your generosity makes a significant difference, enabling our school to provide students and faculty with extraordinary resources, experiences and opportunities which will impact their lives forever.” Jamie Price, President, Board of Trustees Dr. John Griffith, Head of School
