PHA’s Housing Resource Line

On September 1, 2020, the Partnership for Housing Affordability (PHA) launched the Housing Resource Line (HRL), a unique project that seeks to connect residents in the Richmond region with housing services that meet their needs. Navigating housing resources can be an overwhelming process. Prior to the HRL, there was very little coordination of services which led to resident frustration and over taxed service-providers.

PHA recognized this issue and created the HRL to serve as a single point of entry for an array of housing needs—from rental options and home repairs to homebuyer education and foreclosure prevention. The purpose of the HRL is to connect residents to services that they qualify for and meet their specific needs. The HRL is one of the solutions outlined in the Regional Housing Framework. Unveiled in January, the Framework is an action plan to help address the region’s housing challenges. Over time, the HRL will help local governments and service-providers better understand the severity of housing instability, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The HRL is a testament to PHA’s and the Richmond Association of REALTORS® commitment to policy action and enhancing the quality of life for all residents in the Richmond region.

Virtual Classes & eLearning

The Richmond Association of REALTORS® launched new, online learning options to respond to COVID-19 and to meet members’ needs in an expanding digital world.

The eLearning options combine customized curriculum for central Virginia real estate professionals with easy-to-use online platforms.

Virtual Classes

Instructor-led virtual classes are offered live over Zoom. Members can enjoy the same classroom experience from the comfort of their home.

Staff provides troubleshooting and technical assistance prior to each class to ensure a smooth experience for attendees.

These classes regularly provide continuing education and post-license education credit.

On-Demand eLearning

These trainings can be taken any time from anywhere.

The popular Road Rules of CVR MLS class is available ondemand.
