he Richmond Association of REALTORS® is committed to providing professional development opportunities for principal and managing brokers. In 2021, RAR debuted a new program called Broker Open Mic with Mike.
These seminars, offered twice during the calendar year, were led by RAR/CVR MLS Legal Counsel Michael Lafayette. These open mic webinars presented principal and managing brokers with the opportunity to learn more about trending risk management issues such as: » COVID-19 and its impact on real estate transactions » Common contract drafting issues that are negatively impacting transactions » The legalization of marijuana

These seminars also provided an open forum for questions concerning the current market, common transaction issues and other relevant topics.
