The magazine going forward
As you might already have noticed the magazine is in a transition: On the recent general assembly in Danish Sommelier Association, it was decided to proceed with the magazine in English seeing as to many of our members currently are non-Danish speakers. To ensure best inclusion as well as largest reach and use of the magazine it was an obvious choice. This issue will be mainly in English with very few exceptions. From the next we will go fully English. Hopefully it will only encourage more to contribute to the magazine. If you have been travelling, hearing an awesome podcast, attended an exciting tasting or have some interesting thoughts to discuss then we want to hear from you! Why not share it with your community? You are still welcome to send in articles in Danish, then I will help you translate - same goes for proofreading and advising.
I look forward to reading your input and hope you will enjoy this lingually updated version of the magazine.

In an increasingly digital world, the board has decided to look into the opportunity of moving away from the printed version and expanding the digital version to multiple platforms, making it easily accessible and saving money each year. More on this will follow once the different opportunities have been reviewed. A printed longer version containing the highlight articles from the year will be released annually.
This version of the magazine is content wise a little different as most of it is constituted by one long article. It is on the subject soil. A subject that touches our work life every day hence, I chose to prioritize it. I sincerely hope it will spark your curiosity and provide you with useful information. Should you find it somewhat long and liking our more classical build of the magazine better fear not – it will return from the next issue.
Happy reading, Cheers Nina Jensen
