Sapphire Lutheran Homes will celebrate the summer of 2021 with their Ninth Annual Summer Concert Series and Shakespeare in the Parks. The Summer Concert Series is free and open to the public and will be held on the large lawn on the Sapphire campus at 501 N.10th Street in Hamilton. There is plenty of room to spread out, so bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the music. The music will be the focus this year, so there will not be a barbecue, ice cream or raffle— just great music and a chance to gather as a community. The line-up includes: Friday, June 25, at 7 p.m. “Who Dat” will perform. With their mix of guitars, fiddle, keys, and percussion, blended with the sweet vocal harmonies, this group rocks it out when they perform songs by The Eagles, Zac Brown Band, The Beach Boys, Alabama, The Doobie Brothers and many more. Who Dat! truly is “a Montana band with a southern rock sound.” Friday, July 2, at 7 p.m. “406” will perform. 406 is comprised of Mark Duboise, Checkers Barker, John Parr, Tom Nash and Stu Jackson. These country rockers hail from Missoula and bring a unique style and energy to the cover songs you will be sure to recognize. This is Montana grown, hot rockin’ country, whiskey soaked Southern rock with some slow dance tunes. Music made with care and talent to spare. Come and join in the fun!
