Sequoia utilizes a block schedule, meaning that on most school days, students attend only half their classes for twice as long. This allows teachers a greater chance to offer rich and varied instruction, and reduces the amount of instructional minutes that must be allocated to transitioning.

STUDENT SERVICES

Teen Resource Center

The TRC provides free confidential crisis, individual, and group counseling along with youth development services to help students improve academic skills, behavior, and personal relationships. It also helps students make positive decisions and set future goals.

Free Meals

ALL students will receive one breakfast meal and one lunch meal daily at no cost, regardless of the completion of a Meal Application or eligibility status.

Health Office

Provides first aide, emergency care and information on resources in the community for any health related issues. Health counseling is also available by appointment. All students are welcome and should feel confident in managing their health as a student here!

ASB is is committed to creating a unique, positive, and enjoyable experience for every Sequoia Student. The organization is run by students for students, and dictates much of Sequoia Student Life. The organization's members include: the appointed Executive Board, elected Class Officers, selected ASB Class Members, and all Student Body Members. It is our job to keep the Sequoia Spirit thriving!
