COOLIDGE FIRE DEPARTMENT

On behalf of the Coolidge Fire Department, welcome. Coolidge Fire was established in 1939 and has a long standing tradition of service, and remains committed to serving the citizens, neighbors, and guests of Coolidge. Our focus is community risk reduction; however, we are prepared as an all risk fire department to respond to any emergency. Our current I.S.O. rating is a 4.

Our most valued asset is our team of 30 firefighters. Of these dedicated firefighters, 25 are volunteers that proudly serve the City of Coolidge. We have a fleet of 4 fire engines, a ladder, a water tender, a Light Rescue and 2 Command Vehicles. As mentioned above we are an all hazards department that provides not only high –quality and efficient emergency responses, but we also provide specialized Investigative and Inspection services.

We are committed to reducing community risk such as fires, motor vehicle accidents and other emergencies through code enforcement, public education (CPR, first aid, etc.), engineering, and being engaged in the community. We are here to serve the community with honor and integrity improving the quality of life in Coolidge.

COOLIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT

On behalf of the Coolidge Police Department, welcome to our city! The men and women of the police department are committed to working in partnership with our citizens and businesses to improve the quality of life in Coolidge. We are dedicated to solving community problems, the reduction of crime, the protection of life and property, and upholding state laws, municipal codes and the constitutional rights of all persons.

To support this mission the police department holds our GAIN (Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods) Night at the Kenilworth Sports Complex in October each year. GAIN is an annual gathering of law enforcement and the community, designed to promote partnerships between citizens and local police, as well as bring awareness to many community service resources available to them, while focusing on the theme of crime prevention.

A variety of community partners are present each year, including the Coolidge Fire Department, Coolidge Parks & Recreation, Pinal County Attorney’s Office, Pinal Hispanic Council, Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, United States Border Patrol, Arizona Department of Public Safety, and many other regional law enforcement, public service organizations and businesses. The public enjoys complimentary hot dogs, bounce houses for the children, and many other giveaways from the vendors. The night culminates in free raffles for prizes and gifts for children and adults, donated from local businesses. GAIN is a great community event for kids to come and play, people to socialize and get to know their law enforcement partners as well as learn about the many resources available to them in Coolidge and Pinal County.
