The Glendale On-Site Leadership Development (G.O.L.D.) program is now taking applications for youth ages 13 -15 years old who are looking for a fun and challenging summer that will provide:
Initial job related experience
Leadership development skills
Instruction on resume development and interview skills
Interpersonal skills training
Come work alongside Summer camp staff and get job training while having fun in this exciting new volunteer program with the City of Glendale.

Summer Recreation Program
The City of Glendale offers a FREE, drop-in summer recreation program for ages 6-14. This program provides enriching recreational activities in a fun atmosphere.

This full-service recreation and aquatics center serves the Glendale community. The center provides educational, recreational, fitness, and social activities through classes, special events, and ongoing center activities. Select areas and programs are free to anyone. Recreation Memberships may be purchased for additional opportunities. No joining fees or contracts!

Our Community Centers offer a FREE dynamic, non-licensed drop in after school program that provides enriching recreation activities in a fun atmosphere. This includes creative arts and crafts, recreational games, sports, STEAM/STEM experiments, homework help, and special events. Daily meals from St. Mary’s Food Bank are available to all participants. This program allows participants to sign in and out without parental or guardian permission. In partnership with the Glendale Elementary School District, we follow their school release times and calendar.
