ARIZONA PHILHARMONIC
Arizona Philharmonic (AZ Phil) is celebrating its fourth season in Prescott in 2021-2022 as Prescott’s regional professional orchestra, presenting large and small concerts that engage and inspire listeners. Based in Prescott and performing also in Surprise, AZ Phil draws musicians from across Arizona and is committed to offering transformative music, while nurturing community participation and supporting the needs and growth of the Prescott area performing arts scene.
Arizona Philharmonic is committed to quality concerts, paying musicians fair wages, creating music jobs, promoting living composers, offering creativity-based outreach to youth, underserved, and seniors, and enabling attendance by all economic levels. Arizona Philharmonic is grounded in a culture of kindness. ELKS THEATRE & PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
The Elks Theatre and Performing Arts Center, was built by the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, Lodge #330 in 1905; listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The 487 seat Theatre has been fully remodeled and restored to its original turn of the century style and beauty. With stadium style seating and opera boxes there is not a bad seat in the house.
The Theatre is the perfect place in the Quad Cities to see a musical show, a theatrical presentation or hold a graduation. It is also available to lease for weddings, musical presentations or business meetings. The Performing Arts Center occupying the top two floors of the Theatre complex completed remodeling in 2016. The second floor has two dance studios, each over seven hundred square feet with state of the art music systems and lighting. Dance Hall 1 has Prescott’s only professional Sprung Marley floor with Ballet Barre while Dance Hall 2 sports a floating Hickory surface. Complementing the dance halls on the second floor are five Wenger “SoundLok” Music isolation booths for voice and instrumental practice. On the third floor of the Performing Arts Center there are two event halls with a total floor capacity of up to 200 people. Event Hall 1 also has a full kitchen available. It is the newest place in Prescott surrounding the Courthouse Square to hold your reception, party, Quinceanera, business meeting or seminar. We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization. The mission of the Elks Theatre and Performing Arts Center is to enhance the community of Prescott by providing space for practice, rehearsal and training of the performing arts. Since 1949, after being founded by local artists Mabel Lawrence and George Phippen, The Mountain Artists Guild has been supporting the visual arts in the greater Prescott area. The Guild is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the visual arts, and the encouragement, education and support of artists and artisans of all ages and abilities through workshops, seminars, exhibits, scholarships, fellowship and a provision of a forum for art-related community events. Currently, the Guild has nearly 300 member artists who showcase art work in our Gallery space during six rotating exhibits per year.
The Guild offers education opportunities for artists of all ages and abilities by means of workshops, classes, and seminars, and special programming such as Veterans Art Programs and Youth Art Programs. The Guild is committed to supporting young artists through after school art programs, Summer art camp, and annual scholarships for graduating seniors perusing arts careers. The Mountain Artists Guild hosts two annual festivals on the Downtown Prescott Courthouse Square: the Mother’s Day Fine Art and Chocolate Festival and the August Fine Art and Wine Festival. These festivals are an opportunity for the community to engage with the arts in a free, public setting, while also giving our member artists and other local artists the chance to sell their artwork.
As an organization that is primarily supported by volunteers, The Guild welcomes all those interested in the visual arts to join as a member. We welcome the public to our Gallery Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00am - 3:00pm and also during the 4th Friday Art Walk from 5:00pm - 8:00pm on the 4th Friday of every month.

The mission of Prescott Chorale is to perform choral music of exceptional quality in a highly professional manner, emphasizing masterworks that inspire, challenge, entertain and educate our singers and our audiences. It is with the music artistry, knowledge and experience that Director Dennis Houser leads this 50 to 60 person choral group through thrilling performances of classical pieces from Brahms and Bach to Mozart and Saint-Saëns.

Next, the Prescott Chamber Orchestra, Prescott’s oldest orchestra featuring classical and Baroque era music, joins the Prescott Symphony Orchestra group of ensembles. Taking youth outreach to the next level, Maestro Joseph Place created the third ensemble with the Prescott Youth Orchestra featuring fifth- through eighthgrade string musicians focused on the classical genre.

The Yavapai Symphony Association is proud to make this the 53rd year of bringing the Phoenix Symphony and their world famous soloists to Prescott. Our 2020 season will also feature performances by the Siberian State Symphony and the Arizona State University Symphony. This season’s concerts will be on January 19, February 23, March 11, March 29, April 5, and May 13 of 2020. This season will feature major classical works by Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Schumann, and Rachmaninoff. Built in 2006, this modern multi-purpose venue stands as a premier site for concerts, sporting events, fairs, expos, stage shows and a variety of other special events. The arena seats over 6,000 for concerts and 4,000 for sporting events. The arena is available for rent for private events of all sizes, from small business meetings, birthday and anniversary parties to luncheons, fundraising dinners, banquets, graduations, weddings, galas, and sporting events. The parking area is also available for rent for events such as RV and car shows and carnivals. Private catering is available for events of all sizes and provided by the in-house caterer, Gabby’s Kitchen.

The Northern Arizona Wranglers, Yavapai County’s new IFL Team, begins the season on April 3rd, 2021.
