Dear Brethren Christian Greetings “Ebenezer! Hitherto hath the Lord helped us” in the year 2023! Today we can reflect on the past year with immense gratitude to the Lord. Each member played a vital role in the tremendous work and involvement that led to the baptism of over 600 individuals and a positive upturn in the finances of the North East Jamaica Conference. Truly, God is good! The theme for this year is "Press On! We are Nearing Home." It serves as a constant reminder of our journey toward our heavenly abode. In light of this, we invite each member to join us in a Conference-wide Day of Prayer on January 27, 2024. Together, let's give thanks for God's graciousness and pray for the future development of the conference, including the vision for a new conference office. We invite you to celebrate with us as NCU FM marked its 13th anniversary in November 2023 by giving a special offering on Sabbath, January 27, 2024, to fortify the impactful ministry of the radio station, touching countless lives across the island. The dedication of each member in 2023 has made a significant impact, and we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. Our journey continues! Ellen G White reminds us, “Long have we waited for our Saviour's return. But nonetheless sure is the promise. Soon we shall be in our promised home. There Jesus will lead us beside the living stream flowing from the throne of God and will explain to us the dark providences through which on this earth He brought us in order to perfect our characters. There we shall behold with undimmed vision the beauties of Eden restored.” Testimonies for the Church Vol 8: Page 252. May this year be filled with spiritual growth, unity, and unwavering faith as we PRESS ON together. Yours in the Master’s service.

Danielo Daniels President

All Pastors, Elders and Family Ministries Directors Dear Brother and Sisters in Christ Happy New Year! I greet you in the name of Jesus, our blessed redeemer and soon coming King! I wish to use this opportunity to thank all our Family Ministries Leaders for the support you gave to the Family Ministries Department during the year 2023 and look forward to greater commitment and service for the year 2024. This year we join with the personal Ministries Department under for the initiative: “Families in Mission”. This idea is simply to have every Adventist Family working with a nonAdventist family; quite frankly, this is one of the most effective ways of having total membership involvement. Through the Family Ministries Department, the Conference is seeking to have some 1,300 couples registered for the initiative, 5,000 Singles, and approximately 90 churches involved. Registration is presently ongoing and can be accessed through the Family Ministries website. On February 10-16, 2024 the focus is on: How Parents in the Family Grow in Faith, during the course of this week we encourage all our Family Ministries Leaders to have a one-week series focusing on the family with a baptism to be held on February 16, 2024. Additionally, our Couples Convention will be held on Sabbath, February 10, 2024, at the Dover Church under the theme: “Loving God Loving Each Other”. We are encouraging at least 2 couples from each church to be present. We look forward to a successful and productive year, as we do our part to have happy healthy families in North East Jamaica Conference. Yours in Christ Service

Garfield Manderson Family Ministries Director

TITHING PRINCIPLES 1 . God is our Creator, Owner, Sustainer and Redeemer For by him were all things created that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1:16, 17. “We belong to God; we are His sons and daughters,— His by creation and His by the gift of His Only Begotten Son for our redemption. Ye are not your own; for ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. The mind, the heart, the will, and the affection belong to God; the money that we handle is the Lord’s. Every good that we receive and enjoy is a result of divine benevolence.” Counsels on Stewardship, 72.
