Understanding that there is high demand for investment stock allowed our team to reposition the asset to obtain a sale for our vendor. The goal was to sell the property; however, the owner occupier enquiry had been quite low so we evaluated the rate we could achieve to lease and compared it to the average yield. After securing a tenant, and while the fitout was taking place, we went to our investor database to secure a sale. Within the first 2 weeks we had multiple offers and a contract. The initial contract fell over due to border closures but a backup contract was established and a sale was made just in time for the tenant to start trading.
