What has been the most significant team achievement throughout the year? What team building activities have your team introduced or included throughout the year?
Our most successful achievement this year has been the integration of the Pine Rivers office to form the Northern Corridor Group. Our focus on Team is reflected in our motto of “One Team, Three Locations”. Geographic barriers are difficult to overcome, so we have embraced technology to maximise interoffice engagement and team building. Initiatives designed to compliment this team philosophy include: • D aily “scoreboard” emails from each office to the group with friendly banter about wins for the day (Listings, leases/ sales, reduce to market, VPA) • Embracing Google Hangouts to promote team interaction and skill/task sharing • Use of Zoom video conferencing for training and marketing purposes across three offices • Monthly internal newsletters (NCG Insider) to promote team activities, achievements, training and to highlight individual team members achievements/ interests outside of work • Tuesday night flag-football team headed by Blake • We successfully held our first quarterly awards and training afternoon
In addition to our internal team building, we embrace engagement with the Ray White network of offices for the purpose of training and conjunctional deals. This has included: • Conjunctional sale of North Lakes showroom centre for $21.5m with Ray White Milton • Conjunctional sale of Morayfield IGA for $22.5m with Stephen Kidd • Conjunctional sale of Kippa Ring property for $2.2m with Ray White Nunawading • Auction sale of Lear Jet Drive for $1.3m with Ray White Commercial QLD • Joint pitching for a $4m asset with Ray White Bayside • Joint pitching for a $12m showroom centre in Mackay with Ray White Milton • Referral of potential $6m listing to Ray White Glen Waverly

With each of our directors coming from a private (non-corporate) background, we appreciate more than most the resources offered by Ray White and the impact they can have on the career path of an individual and the success of a business. With this in mind, we have embraced the opportunities on offer and expanded further with some customised training specific to our markets. These include: • Development and delivery of our Group Training Calendar • Having training achievements incorporated into our incentive structure • Development of our “Associate Program” to provide new recruits with a clear roadmap to success in the real estate industry • Appointment of Shayna Kirk as our Group Executive Assistant to organise training engagement • Implement a mentoring program to upskill team members oand invest in external workshops for specific skills e.g. photography and video.

Our team culture translates into our operational systems by providing centralised services to our staff. This is done to ensure consistency and quality across the group in the following key categories: MARKETING AND DATA MANAGEMENT: The marketing department, headed up by Louise Brett, provides each of the three offices with a resource for quality outbound agency and campaign marketing. This has included: • Recruitment of Shayna Kirk as Group Support Officer • Centralised Property Management with recruitment of Guy Upchurch • Real time task tracking across the group with Asana and Google Sheets • Centralised HR and recruiting framework Each of our teams works to innovate and adopt best practices in changing markets. We encourage them to explore any new marketing or process initiatives and provide resources to secure “Proof of Concept”, before integrating successful ideas across the group.
