Belgrade Design Week (BDW) is the globally sensational creative industry conference that aims to gather creative industry international experts. In the past three years, it has become the most important festival of its kind in the region and one of the top 5 design festivals in the world. The main goal of Belgrade Design week is to create the global forum for dialogue and engagement between the creative and business sectors, to stimulate and educate the new generation of design and business professionals and to integrate Belgrade and Serbia in world’s creative industry. Our design studio focuses mainly on research and development of advanced ideas and concepts. Mikser is a non-for-profit network of art and design professionals and enthusiasts involved in production of various trans-cultural projects dedicated to development of design, architecture and communication, as crucial tools for Serbia’s economic recovery and intellectual restoration. Mikser organizes competitions, exhibitions, cultural events, conferences, educational courses and lectures. With a goal to increase visibility of young local talents in the field of industrial design, Mikser developed Ghost project – annual expo and dynamic database of fresh Serbian talents, as well as Young Balkan Designers platform dedicated to exposing regional design talents, developed on the basis of Young Serbian Designers project which brought Serbian design potential to a global spotlight. Providing practical platform for interaction between designers, businesses, media and manufactures, Mikser organization initiated and manages its own signature festival for creative businesses simply called Mikser. NATASA SARIC fashion designer
Unification of her interests in visual arts and fashion is the trademark of Natasa Saric, which is confirmed by her participation and awards won at many of the national and international fashion and visual art festivals. Ms. Saric has been participating at Fashion Weeks in Belgrade, Zagreb and Prague. Her most recognized collections include Strategy Shadows and Expectore Zone done with the French comic book author Thierry Guitard. After graduating from Central St. Martins School, Tamara Radivojevic founded her own fashion label in 2002. Dejana Momcilovic graduated from The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Fashion Department and obtained her Master’s Degree at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, Multimedia Department. She built on her experience by working for many Belgian designers, and presenting her designs at Fashion Weeks in Paris. After returning from Belgium in 2007 she created her own label based on the research of the form in the daily and evening clothes, presenting them in an innovative way.
