Prime Concierge Restaurants‌
Philadelphia
ABOUT US… Prime Concierge Restaurants is our ongoing interpretation of the area’s Best Restaurants. Let’s just say we know these places are all outstanding, and you will make the final judgment based on your experience. Of course, we missed some, and the restaurants did not pay to be in our presentation. Too many people make the mistake of visiting a great City (such as Philadelphia) and play it safe by visiting a popular chain concept that they know and trust. And there are tons of people who simply don’t care. This is for the people who do care and who appreciate a great restaurant experience. Our program is important to them simply because they want to sample the Best. ...Bob Bickell
Vetri - Chef Marc Vetri
Vetri is in the category of the best Italian restaurants in the country (and possibly the world). This small 35-seat spot is the home of our world-class chef who spent several years honing his skills in Italy. It can be a very difficult reservation, but most certainly worth the effort. The Vetri family also includes Osteria, Amis, Pizzeria Vetri, and Alla Spina. 1312 Spruce Street
Lacroix at the Rittenhouse
A vital part of the Philadelphia upscale restaurant scene located in the prestigious Rittenhouse Hotel on beautiful Rittenhouse Square. Experience their progressive international cuisine from the young and talented Chef Jon Cichon.

Fountain at the Four Seasons
When you talk about fine dining in our City, The Fountain at the Four Seasons has to be discussed. Four Season hotels have great restaurants by definition, and in every market, it’s all about exceptional food and impeccable service. No one even knows who the chef is in Philadelphia. It doesn’t matter – you know it’s going to be a memorable experience. One Logan Square
Fork Restaurant – Chef Eli Kulp
Here is a CIA chef who recently arrived in Philadelphia from New York. In short order, he has New York written all over Fork. Fork is better than ever, and that’s really saying something. His NYC experience included Fonda del Sol, Del Posto, and Torrisi Italian Specialties. Located at 306 Market Street, Fork is high on the list of Philly favorites.
Chef Greg Vernick is a native of Cherry Hill, and a CIA graduate, but his five years with one of New York’s best chefs (Jean-Georges Vongerichten) was all the preparation necessary to produce a concept in Philadelphia that has become an immediate winner. 2031 Walnut Street
The Prime Rib
This spot has been a major player in Philly for the past 16 years, and it’s consistently great. Having one of our best owners in Garth Weldon most certainly helps, and the classic supper- club atmosphere along with a super bar keeps the folks coming. The Prime Rib is more than just a steakhouse, and it has proven to be one of the top restaurants in this great City! 1701 Locust Street
Chef Joe Cicala – Le Virtù
Chef Cicala spent time in Washington, DC and cooked at the highly respected Del Posto in New York City. Even before his arrival in Philadelphia Le Virtù was an outstanding restaurant, but one could easily suggest that he made it even better. 1927 East Passyunk Avenue
Chef Peter Serpico – Serpico…
The man from Momofuko in New York teamed-up with Stephen Starr and this dinner only spot on South Street has become a local favorite. The good chef is a James Beard Award winner, and the big winner is South Street. Could it possibly become another “Hippist Street in town? (the Orlons) 604 South Street

Zahav‌Chef Michael Solomonov
One of Philadelphia’s most talented chefs does everything from incredible Israeli cuisine to chicken and donuts. Zahav is a serious concept that has become one of the best (and most interesting) restaurants in Philadelphia. 237 St. James Place
The CAPITAL Grille
American’s love their steakhouses and it’s only interesting to rate them as which one is the best. It’s too subjective to worry about. The only thing for sure is that The Capital Grille is one of the best. Their success in Philadelphia speaks for itself. 1338 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia King of Prussia and Cherry Hill
Vedge - Chef Rich Landau and wife, Chef Kate Jacoby… They did what was thought to be the impossible… they found the way to make vegan food delicious. They also moved into a classic spot that was once the home of Fritz Blanc and Deux Cheminees. With more seats and more visibility, they brought Vedge into the national restaurant scene. It’s a great story, and Vedge has become a Philadelphia favorite with outstanding food, and even a great bar and cocktail lounge. 1221 Locust Street
The Oyster House
The Mink family has been doing seafood for years and years. This is the modern version, and it’s better than ever. Bookbinder’s (both) are long gone, but this is the spot that we needed...... 1516 Sansom Street
Buddakan
This spot opened in August of 1998. Who would have thought that after all these years that a reservation is still a challenge? This might be Stephen Starr’s greatest accomplishment. Modern Asian cuisine together with a simply dramatic atmosphere. What’s not to love? 325 Chestnut St. Old City
Del Frisco’s
Philadelphia has a host of outstanding Steakhouses, and this one is not to be missed. A great bar; an amazing ambiance; and most importantly, excellent food. Not surprisingly, the folks come for their USDA Prime-aged steaks and their cold-water Australian lobster tails. The place is happening, and conveniently located at 1426 Chestnut Street.
Spraga
Chef Kevin Spraga is one of the great chefs of Philadelphia, and his restaurant on South Broad Street has to be on any list that features the best restaurants of this City. It’s all about modern American cuisine presented by an amazing chef. Avenue of the Arts‌440 South Broad Street
The Farm and the Fisherman

The menu changes with the seasons, and features the finest sustainably sourced ingredients including meat, fish, and poultry. 324 South 10th Street
Ristorante Panorama
This is one of those Philadelphia restaurants that doesn’t get a lot of publicity, and maybe they like it that way. They do have a very loyal audience for all the right reasons. In terms of wine, Panorama is up there with the best in America. Their outstanding Northern-Italian cuisine is a perfect match to one of the most interesting bars in our area. The corner of Front & Market in Old City
Noord – Chef Joncarl Lachman
Another one of the great new restaurants in Philadelphia. It’s a dinner-only BYOB that features Nordic, Scandinavian and contemporary American cuisine. (closed Monday and Tuesday). The talented Chef Lachman hails from New York and Chicago. 1046 Tasker St. (East Passyunk Ave)
Rouge
Rouge belongs in any discussion on great Philadelphia restaurants. Rouge on Rittenhouse Square is the place to be (indoors or outdoors). It became a classic many years ago, and it’s still the place to go. Rob Wasserman (owner) said it best… “It’s like walking into a French Parlor from the 1920’s”. 205 South 18th Street
Fond – Chef Lee Styer
Fond is yet another magnificent BYOB in the new South Philadelphia destination (Passyunk Ave). Contemporary American cuisine at its best; full bar; and a BYOB program ‌ 1537 South 11th Street
Han Dynasty
Han Dynasty has to be one of the most interesting concepts in the Philadelphia area. Even though the owner (Han Chiang) recently closed his restaurant in University City, his spot in Old City is hot and happening. It’s all about Sichuan cuisine (at its best) and his restaurants are fun, colorful, and I might add, extremely successful. 108 Chestnut Street
Barbuzzo – Chef Marcie Turney
This one is really about Chef Turney, Valerie Safran, and 13th Street. The street used to be a disaster. Along came the ladies, and along came El Vez, Barbuzzo, Capogiro, Sampan (and a host of Turney and Safran concepts). 13th Street today is totally happening, and it has become an amazing restaurant and shopping destination. 13th Street, Philadelphia.
