DONOR SPOTLIGHT

Felicia L. Wilczenski, Ed.D. For Felicia, the benefits of making a planned gift to the Archdiocese of Boston were threefold: to honor her parents, to create a legacy that would live beyond her own life, and to do so while receiving personal income during her retirement.

“The great thing is I get what I need during my lifetime, and then after I am gone, that money will go towards helping others. It’s a win-win!” - Felicia Wilczenski

Felicia has made multiple planned gifts, the most meaningful being the creation of the Louis and Genevieve Wilczenski Endowment Fund in honor of her parents, which will support elder and childcare services within the Archdiocese of Boston. She included the endowment fund in her will so that it can continue to help children and the elderly far into the future. Now retired from her role as interim dean of UMass Boston’s College of Education and Human Development, Felicia has started receiving income from the charitable gift annuities that she set up years ago. She will continue receiving that income during her lifetime, and then it will be given to Catholic causes that are close to her heart.
