The Special Action Unit (UTK) is a special team of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) elite that has specialized expertise as a tactical assault team. Now the motorcycle special team known as Unit Tindak Khas (UTK) or Rapid Assault Team (RAT) has received 24 units of BMW 1250GS . The German-made adventure motorcycle is the latest asset of the PDRM with the ability to coordinate operational skills. It certainly meets the criteria required by the RAT who is indeed specially trained in the tactical handling of two-wheeled vehicles in any situation.
These team members are also selected based on their abilities and skills in accordance with their assignment as a fastmoving assault team, especially in the builtup area scenario. PDRM targets the RAT as a force multiplier on existing 'special operations' capabilities to address the threat of terrorism and high-profile serious criminal activities.

he Harley-Davidson FXDR 114
has a massive 240mm Michelin Scorcher II. This is the biggest production size tyre you can get on a production motorcycle. Together with the largest tyre you also get a sleek style street motorcycle that pump 119 ft-lbs of torque at 3500 rpm that makes the beast just fly away when the lights turn green. Modern styling and plenty of get-upand-go acceleration will give the riders enjoyable time when ripping the pavement. This FXDR has a touch of Rizoma, and enhances the style of the H-D street cruiser. The up-to-date features such as ABS and an assist-and-slipper clutch for the six-speed transmission make the FXDR a truly unique riding experience motorcycle.

But the FXDR 114 still doesn’t have enough cornering clearance to fun in the twisties. The front suspensions are quite stiff, so will get the occasional front lift while negotiating bumpy corners.

Only what I didn’t like is the front brakes trail braking bite, I was trail braking halfway then suddenly get a sudden bigger bite at the front, maybe to use to Brembo’s trail braking bite. Like I said it’s not perfect but the plus point here is very Rusty Rider-Friendly! Whatever you casually throw at it the S1000RR is seamless and obey your every command and sometimes the DTC will interfere with your throttle control.
For most riders should quickly get riding the S1000RR a snap, as the electronics are more adaptive, I rode the M Package S1000RR variant, loaded with Akrapovič slip-on, Carbon Rims, Pro-Ride mode and active suspension to name a few juicy stuff with M Packaged together out of the showroom.

HRC test rider Stefan Bradl finished top of the pile at the Qatar Shakedown Test as windy conditions made it difficult for the riders to get a decent amount of running in. Two Yamaha test bikes were inside the top three on the timesheets but the pace was a considerable amount away from where we’d normally see them, nevertheless though, it was sensational to see MotoGP™ bikes back on track. Heavy winds nearing 40km/h at the Losail International Circuit heavily affected the opening few hours of track time, with fastest man Bradl some four seconds shy of Maverick Viñales’ (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) best time from the 2020 Qatar Test in the opening exchanges. He did go on to improve his pace throughout the day, his fastest being a 1:55.614 – 1.2 seconds ahead of anyone else and a couple of seconds down on the all-time lap record. Bradl was riding with a carbon inserted chassis, the same one he finished the season so brilliantly on in 2020.
