PRESIDENT’S REPORT four being set certain tasks, Zsofi was in a team of 4 to a build a bridge, of which 3 were boys, so she elected to supervise!. Zsofi also attended the incoming Exchange Student Orientation Camp at Cap Getaway and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend meeting other inbound students in the district. MESSAGES/WE CARE

I advised the meeting that Bev had her back surgery on Friday and after 10 1/2 hours the surgeons were happy with what they achieved. Bev is now recuperating at Epworth Hospital in Richmond for another 3-4 weeks. Expect to see Bev 3-4 inches taller when you next see her - hopefully at the Xmas Show. Bruce Reid earlier this month tendered his resignation to the club - many of you are aware that Jenny is facing some difficulties, and both will be spending a lot of time away from Bendigo with family - I am pleased to announce that the Board’s offer to Bruce of Honorary Membership was accepted with appreciation and humility. We hope to see Bruce from time to time.
