We would feel it impossible to maintain the enthusiasm we have for our product range, if we were not convinced and assured that our products were of good quality.... but more than that - something special! A unique product, bringing a timeless secret of well-being and health to our customers.

The wonderful Island culture in Fiji not only encourages bodily health, but a great sense of community and group spirit. The team of people that support our production process, and the communities that provide us with raw materials, are a major part of our operation. We involve as many communities as possible in the production of our items, and without this network of human interaction, we would be unable to survive and grow.

Our passion for the product has led to new and exciting opportunities for all the people involved in the process, As a consequence of this passion and team effort - our product now reaches across the globe as an ambassador for the beauty of our Island home and culture.

For centuries South Pacific Islanders have used a balanced blend of pure coconut and exotic drift seed oils infused with flower extr acts to nourish, hydrate and beautify skin and hair.

Pure Fiji began with a vision to bring the best of these traditional blends to spas around the globe and as a result, became pioneers in the research, packaging and use of virgin coconut oil commercially.

From humble beginnings in the family kitchen with 5 dedicated staff wrapping hand-made soaps and bottling body oil, Pure Fiji now operates a cosmetic manufacturing laboratory which produces a full skin and body care line and employs over 200 people across 2 factories in Fiji’s capital, Suva. Beyond the factory gates, in small villages across the islands, Pure Fiji has also developed a symbiotic relationship with a network of farmers and harvesters from local villages who are a vital part of the production process.

This ability to provide jobs to the community, and change lives, is central to the company’s belief that “ WHERE THERE IS A HAND, THERE IS A HEART AND SOUL ” … While other companies might seek to automate wherever possible, Pure Fiji looks to create jobs at every opportunity.

PLANT BASED BEAUTY

Pure Fiji uses a blend of botanical ingredients such as our seed oils, that are wild-harvested, which means that we select seed s from trees that grow in their natural habitat thus harnessing the true power of nature.

This also reduces our requirement for energy, dependent irrigation and fertilization methods-thus limiting our carbon impact.

Leaves and herbs are all collected by hand and distilled fresh on site for each batch of products we produce.

THE SECRET IS IN THE SEED

Pure Fiji’s secret has always been a balanced blend of exotic seed oils which include Virgin coconut oil, dilo oil, sikeci oil and macadamia nut oil with the recent addition of moringa oil to many products.

These organic oils are cold-pressed at source,using unique methods developed by Pure Fiji which retain the integrity and molecular structure of the oil.

Seed To Skin

As a result of these special processes the oil remains as nature designed it - exceptionally high in essential medium chain fatty acids and a plant source of Omega 3 and Omega 6. This blend also contains a bounty of antioxidants, vitamins A, C, B and E and other nutrients for healthy looking skin.

A low molecular weight enables the oil to be readily accepted into the skin and drawn into the deeper layers of the dermis, passing with ease through the cell membranes to nourish each skin cell.

Acclaimed as the tree of miracles, nutrient-dense Moringa oil contains powerful antioxidants and fatty acids that are natural a nti-pollutants: flushing out toxins, repairing and soothing stressed and damaged skin as vital nutrients penetrate deep into the skin.

A fruity floral infusion with notes reminiscent of zesty mandarin combined with fresh mulberry, crisp bergamot, creamy vanilla, gentle sweet honeysuckle and rich patchouli.

COCONUT MILK AND HONEY - FIRMING

Our Coconut Milk and Honey collection is full of skin-saving antioxidants to slow the signs of aging and protect skin.Coconut m ilk is naturally high in vitamins, minerals and fatty acids softening skin as well as keeping it nourishing, firm and hydrated. HANDMADE PAPER

Pure Fiji initiated the handmade paper project in Fiji to provide an income to villagers in isolated regions. Beautiful handmade paper is made from cellulose found in plant fibre, which is literally beaten to a pulp and dispersed in water.

This fibre, the main ingredient of paper, is sourced in different forms from bark, leaf, and grass of local plants and trees. The entire process is done by hand and involves about 100 people. Pure Fiji uses the paper for packaging soaps and in the production of exquisite stationery items.

Pure Fiji’s paper-making project is almost entirely run by the women of these rural communities, empowering them in ways they have never experienced before and today, paper making is the major income earner for the village.

Additional classrooms and a library have been built for a secondary school - which means 150 children from the paper making village and neighbouring villages have access to higher education.

Perhaps the greatest long-term goal the paper making community has recently achieved is the building and setting up of a village store.

This is complete with a refrigerator and deep freezer that are powered by a generator also purchased by the women. The store brings in additional income from trade with surrounding villages that runs adjacent.

The Sacred Dilo tree draws its sustenance directly from the nutrient rich warm waters of the Pacific Ocean, with its roots spread on white coral sands. Traditionally, it is known to possess a unique fatty acid which enhances the skin’s own repair mechanism, and the growth of healthy skin as well as increase in collagen production and skin hydration. For this reason, Dilo Oil is widely used in the Islands as a traditional topical aid. Pure Fiji Dilo oil is a pure, cold-pressed oil which is readily accepted by the skin. This oil is known to alleviate many dermatological ailments like sunburn, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, shaving irritation, rashes and many more - which is attributed to the molecular structure of this oil remaining as nature intended, intact and with a generous bounty of omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids to naturally help soothe and heal skin.
