Our Pursuit of the Perfect Snowboard
The only thing our team loves more than building snowboards is riding snowboards. Venture was founded in 1999, beginning our lifelong pursuit of crafting unrivaled snowboards for maximum mountain enjoyment and performance. Every Venture is handcrafted by snowboarders in our Silverton, Colorado factory and tested in some of the most demanding terrain in the lower 48. The mountains dictate the design; countless hours of rider R&D go into every product. Fortunately for us, “R&D” in this case equals snowboarding. Quality Over Quantity
We’re not a mega manufacturer that builds mass-market boards. Our secret is attention to detail. We ride these boards day in and day out, so nothing gets by us. At Venture, every board counts and nothing leaves our factory without final approval from the founders themselves. Castor Bean Topsheets
We use topsheet material made from the oil of castor beans. Not only does this further our environmental commitment by reducing our use of petroleum products; it’s also the most durable topsheet material available.
STRAIGHT-LINE ROCKER
TRIAXIAL FIBERGLASS
Venture’s entire line features a proprietary Straight-Line Rocker technology. This special formula follows a linear path underfoot, with mellow rise starting just outside the inserts, and eliminates the lack of control often associated with rockered boards. As a result Ventures offer the best of both worlds—a playful, surfy ride in soft snow, but plenty of control and edge grip when you need it.
Torsional stiffness is the key to good edgehold—especially on a rockered board. With fibers aligned in the direction of torsional stress, triaxial fiberglass is the best material for the job.
Rockwell 48 carbon steel edges are extremely durable and stay true when others blow out.
COLORADO CORE
From day one we’ve used only sustainably grown and harvested hardwoods to make our cores. Our aspen/poplar/ash blends cut weight while staying strong and snappy. The aspen is sourced less than 100 miles from our Silverton factory. In each board strategically placed poplar and ash stringers complement the aspen by reinforcing high-stress zones and maintaining Venture’s legendary durability. SEAMLESS SPLIT TECHNOLOGY
Simply put, we build our splitboards to ride like solid boards. Our splitboard craftsmanship is unmatched: we have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to slop between the inner edges and imprecise hardware placement.

COLD-ROLLED HIGH CARBON EDGES
P-TEX SIDEWALL & BASE
For bombproof durability, all Venture boards come with rugged sintered P-Tex sidewalls. Our Durasurf sintered base glides fast as a race board and deflects all but the gnarliest core shots.
FUSION FLEX + SIDECUT
The right combination of flex and sidecut is Venture’s secret sauce, and is essential for balancing playfulness with control. The perfect fusion of these two elements distributes edge pressure evenly on the snow, boosting stability and edgehold. INLAID BASE GRAPHICS
Boards with inlaid base graphics have an advantage over printed graphics because with inlay, the base material bonds directly with the other components rather than with a weak layer of ink. EVIL TWIN TECHNOLOGY
Every base we make has a negative, we call it Evil Twin Technology. By swapping the spare parts from one base with those from another, we are able to use materials more efficiently and eliminate waste.

Our flagship board is the most versatile tool since the Swiss Army Knife, a true quiver killer that will leave your other boards collecting dust. The Zelix won Editors’ Choice Awards from Backcountry Magazine the last two years, and earned Transworld Good Wood and Outside Gear of the Year awards in 2015. We’ve taken the Zelix a notch higher for 2016 by lengthening the nose and tail for more float, softening the flex a touch, and adding more sidecut to make it more manipulable and playful. It’s no noodle, though—sintered p-Tex sidewalls and base plus our Colorado Core and ColdRolled Edges provide Venture’s legendary durability. A small amount of taper (6mm) and slightly offset stance give the Zelix its directional-twin character, but you can still rip it switch without missing a turn and Straight-Line Rocker will keep you afloat tipto-tail.

storm ID: Directional Freeride INSPIRATION: Open faces, tight spaces,
and everything in between
Named for Storm Peak (elev. 13,487 feet), an iconic mountain in Colorado’s San Juan Range, the Storm dominates big lines, tree lines and fresh lines. Its Colorado Core is simultaneously stout and supple, and we use Cold-Rolled High Carbon Edges to maximize edgehold and withstand wear and tear. Straight-Line Rocker, moderate taper and a softer nose provide float in the fresh, while a stiffer midsection and tail drive stability and control.

euphoria ID: All-Terrain Powder Slasher INSPIRATION: Top-to-bottom runs
inbounds & out
Our tried-and-true powder surfer is completely redesigned for 2016 so riders can reap the deep AND rail turns on hardpack, making that lower mountain chunder run almost as fun as those fluffy turns up high. We dropped the reverse sidecut profile in favor of a more traditional version of our Fusion Sidecut, so it’s a little less surfy but slashes on a dime. A rounded tail replaces the swallowtail, but not to worry: the Euphoria still floats like a dream thanks to its never-sink nose, a 27cm waist, Straight-Line Rocker and a seriously tapered (35mm) directional shape.
