A Word from Your Sec-Treas Hello Mighty LaMissTenn District! I hope all of you are having a great start to second semester of high school and are looking forward to the upcoming year. New Officer’s Training and District Convention are both right around the corner and I cannot wait to see everyone there. As many of you know, New Officer’s Training will be held in Baton Rouge at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on March 14-15. Please be sure to hold elections in early February for next year’s officers! District Convention will be held in Natchez, Mississippi from April 4-6. Be sure to watch the District Board’s Call to Convention Video for more information. Attention Club Treasurers: Please be sure to pay your membership dues! Many clubs have not paid their dues, which is not a good thing at all.

Reminders! REMINDERS: Monthly Reports and Newsletters It is extremely vital that I receive each club’s monthly report. They help track your clubs progress and growth. Feel free to make them fun and original! They are due to me, your LTG, and any other advisors on the fifth of the following month, for example, June Monthly Report is due to me on July 5th. Also, please send the report on TIME.
Important Dates: February 1st: FINAL Deadline for Dues Payment March 1st: Payment New Officer’s Training Due March 14th-15th: New Officer’s Training April 4th-6th: District Convention in Natchez, MS July 2nd–6th: International Convention in Anaheim, CA
Dues $ $13.00 total: -$6.50 for International -$6.50 for District $ Dues should be sent by October 1st (Early Bird) or by December 1st (Delinquent) Check online at the MUC to see if any of the clubs in your division are delinquent! Calling All 2013-2014 New Officers and District Board Candidates! It's that time of the year and that means New Officer Training is quickly approaching! The LaMissTenn District is one of the few districts in Key Club International that offers a New Officer Training Conference and this year it is going to be better than ever! On March 14 and 15, pack a bag and head down to Baton Rouge, LA for an amazing event. You will have the opportunity to talk to others who have held your position and other officers from all over the LaMissTenn District! This year’s New Officer Training theme is: Key Club... Explore the World of Service!
District Convention 2014 It’s that time of year again! Our 71st Annual District Convention is coming to a city near you, Natchez to be exact. The theme is Up, Up and Away with Service. Convention will be held from April 4th to the 6th at the Convention Center in Natchez, Mississippi. Be sure to check out the Call to Convention Video on Facebook our YouTube for more information. We hope to see everyone there!
