Welcome Different cultures have different beliefs. Growing up, we only believed the Christian meaning of Christmas – Christ was born in a manger and 3 wise men were directed by a very bright star to where he was. Period! There wasn't the hullabaloo of the big, white, bearded guy in a red suit with an even bigger bag full of goodies; in a reindeerridden 'cart' …presents came from dad or mom, depending on how well you passed your exams that term... Nevertheless December is finally here! It's the Season of Giving. And as the year comes to a close, holiday shopping for gifts just got bigger and better. More so that as we await a new year, we would want to cross over with new and exciting stuff. From making top gear holiday plans to arrangements on a new ride, from the new gizmos making waves in town to changing your wardrobe, or refurnishing your living-room, from the Chinese cuisines in Nairobi to going Italian in Malindi… Whatever you do this Christmas, redefine your true style. “Even the old saying – It's better to give than to receive – turns out to be completely true” The early humans survival highly depended on the exchange of resources, and in a way, this has been ingrained into our DNA, generation after another. But while this had a hidden self-interest aspect, it has become a widespread human trait that has gone to strengthen societal bonds and helped define relationships. Gift giving has for long been a favorite subject for studies on human behavior, with psychologists, anthropologists, economists and marketers all weighing in. According to psychologists, it is the giver who ends up reaping the most, other than the recipient. Even the old saying – It's better to give than to receive – turns out to be completely true when it comes to a psychological level. Gift giving makes people evaluate the bonds they have with others and decide which ones are worth keeping and which ones are not. This Christmas go out of your way and give a gift, it may not be big or expensive, but you just might be reaping so much more. The Prime Advertiser

5 Exciting Christmas Getaways
hristmas is a time to rest and relax from the pressures of late night work and the city traffic. Better yet it's a time to celebrate with friends and family, many of whom you have either not seen or simply ignored during the year. Here is a count down of some 5 exciting places you owe yourself to be at, this christmas.

#5. East, West, Country life is Best Say what you may, but visiting the grandparents and sharing the Christmas cheer has never been boring. They always tend to treat you like the king you are not. Plus who can forget the usually juicy roast goat ribs, accompanied by many other delicacies.
#4 . Home away from Home

For those that are either bored with the beach (are there people like these? highly unlikely) or those who hate camping out in the wild (I know a few..) getting a furnished apartment in the suburbs and ordering take out or visiting the museum over the Christmas will sound like a million dollars.
#3. Sun & Sand, Twice the Fun By virtue of being just a spectacular sight, the beach is one of the most famous of Christmas getaways, especially for the middle class. The sun and the sand provide a little heaven here on earth, just to relax and enjoy with your family. A point to consider - Early booking with your travel agent – This ensures that you get the best deal and forego the Christmas rush. Plus I would hate for my room to be facing an adjacent wall, just because I booked late.
# 2. Love thy Nature For the nature lovers, travelling to the wild of the African bush this Christmas would be considered a holiday well spent. Enjoying of the fresh air, sights of earth's magnificent animals and camping would make any nature-holic burst with excitement. For those intending to climb the mountain or go nature trailing, keep warm, carry the right gear, and above all, keep hydrating. Early booking to your preferred getaway is paramount, and‌don't feed the wild animals.
# 1. Up, Up and Away. You have been saving all year long for this one trip to Dubai, or you have always wanted to visit the Pyramids and relive crossing the Red Sea, or just simply, your sister in France just invited you over for Christmas, flying across the globe does sound a good idea. Get your tickets ready and passport stamped. Get that visa early enough if you have too, otherwise you might spend your holidays at the airport, having a duty free experience.

Rihanna – Unapologetic
The objective is to insert the missing numbers in the boxes to satisfy only one condition: each row, column and 3x3 box must contain the digits 1 through 9 exactly once. What could be simpler? Good Luck Courtesy of Daily Sudoku
Listening to Rihanna in her seventh LP, she seems to pulse out real terror and impossible resolve – listen to ''Love Without Tragedy/ Mother Mary” though she is still able to maintain her uniqueness, listen to ''Stay'' – where she is pleading by the piano or able to turn a 'strip-club anthem' to a declaration of her independence – ''Pour it Out''. Singing the defiant '' Nobody's Business'' a collaboration with Chris Brown, the abusive ex she took back. Showing up only once, Brown was able to also cowrite ''No Love Allowed''. Basically, the album's stark and shadowy R&B is confrontationally honest and sung within an inch of its life.
