Garfield HS KEY CLUB The Official Newsletter of Garfield High School Key Club, Division 26

Meetings every Wednesday in Mr. Heye’s, room 309
No for real, can I have your hand-me-downs?
We are collecting eyeglasses and sunglasses to donate to a clinic! They don’t need to be in perfect condition—broken or missing lenses and such are O.K.
What Website? Putting our website to good use Even if you don’t check the bulletin very often, you can discover and sign up for new Key Club events using our website, which was created by our secretary, Angel! The embedded Google Calendar under the “Events” tab is regularly updated, so you can stay in the know with what’s going on in Key Club even if there are no weekly meetings. You can view descriptions of the events, and sign up for them by commenting. This is a really convenient feature for those of you who don’t really use Facebook, or can’t access our Facebook group because of filtered Internet at school or at the library. It’s also a good location to find a listing of both club and divisional events, and miscellaneous news that isn’t normally broadcasted on the main group.
MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR Dear Key Clubbers, It’s the last lunch meeting of the school year! I am so glad to have been able to work alongside everyone here, and I am proud of what we have accomplished. Even though the school year is drawing to a close, I hope that we can all continue to volunteer and stay in touch over the summer. You can stay updated by reading our emails, checking the website, Facebook groups, and of course, the bulletin will be coming out weekly! I hope everyone has a fun and safe summer, and I look forward to our next meeting, whether it’s over the summer or in fall! -Reanne Wong
