2013-2014 OFFICER BOARD MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR Dear Key Clubbers, I can’t believe how quickly the 2013-2014 Key Club term has come and passed. Awww what a bittersweet moment! I remember how awkward it was stepping into this role after Henry. I was fairly new to Key Club, whereas all of the other officers seemed to have loads of experience. Going to events was extremely uncomfortable because I knew practically no one, and others had already formed their own little friend groups and whatnot. But as my involvement increased, so did my sense of belonging. Although it was intimidating at first, you all are like a part of my family now! I can’t imagine what last year would’ve been like without this experience. We were able to hold successful fundraisers, volunteer thousands of hours, and grow closer together as a community and as a family. DCON this year will be an amazing one, and possibly your last (if you’re a senior). Cherish these memories while they last and don’t forget to meet new friends on the way; if I could have one takeaway from my Key Club experience it would be to step outside of your comfort zone and TAKE A RISK (in case you haven’t seen my tshirt of it yet...haha) This is the last bulletin before Jennifer takes over this position and I become vice president. Thank you for making this year a memorable one! In love and service, Reanne Wong
