CALENDAR & EVENTS FUNDRAISING TAP PROJECT SCRAPBOOK KC PEN PALS DCON 2014 MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR Dear Key Clubbers, There is exactly 1 MONTH UNTIL DCON 2014! Are you excited yet? Are you? I am! Apparently, this year’s spirit gear includes sunglasses, pom poms stadium horns (those vuvuzela things they had at the World Cup) and of course, a blue t-shirt featuring our lovely divisional mascot, the unicorn. Several of us just got back from a meeting with Downtown Seattle Kiwanis early today, where we discussed service projects, fundraising, and Red Light Traffic, which is an app to alert authorities when human trafficking is suspected. Our goal is to continue to increase our involvement with Kiwanis and Red Light Traffic. I’ll provide more details in the next bulletin! This week, we have added several new events, including the Bikeworks Auction and the Montlake Elementary School Auction. If you don’t have time for those events, help out with fundraising and buy a Krispy Kreme doughnut or purchase tickets to pie a teacher! And if you don’t have time for that either, donate some water via the Tap Project by keeping the website open on your phone while your phone charges. Reanne Wong
