The task of developing a new range of ciders was more scientific than a kitchen raid for one Victorian enterprise. However, food is an important ingredient to the latest items on offer from Cheeky Rascal Cider – and that doesn’t include the fruit the operation carefully manipulates into their bottles. Gallace, the chief executive of Rebello Wines, which owns the cider business, wanted a series of drinks that would complement Melbourne’s urban street meal scene.
