Making the message fit

Why does the Soul message feel so right but cannot be taken by your client?

Are you trying to interpret as well as deliver the message, connecting the message to your own life and inadvertently giving advice based on your needs rather than the client finding their own solutions, or delivering the message perfectly but the client does not have the self awareness that this is the answer they’ve been seeking.
That client has come to you specifically to hear the message you have to give so do not worry whether it makes sense in the moment. Your client may be in distress, trauma or just not ready to hear. This is no fault of the practitioner, the message or the client. The message has been delivered on a soul level to the client and is embedded in the subconscious to be retrieved at the appropriate time.
If a client cannot own the message move to the next point. More often than not the penny drops a bit later and it all makes sense.
Sometimes clients are very literal and want messages to come with guarantees. It is not the reader’s job to problem-solve for the client. It’s ok to state this point – I remind clients’ messages are interpretive and not an exact science.
Sometimes we are just blocked and saying stuff that fills a gap. Don’t be that reader, be ethical. If it is a block or you are getting nothing for the client it is best to be honest and say so.
Take a breath and tune in, the message is there, even if the client insists that’s not what they want to hear right now. You are reading and delivering soul messages, neither of you get to dictate the order or the content.
I have had clients get angry or walk away cranky because the focus was not what they were expecting only to have them return to tell me the message was indeed correct and made a difference.
I’ve received a resounding “NO” only to have them tell me a story about themselves at the end of the reading that exactly fits the message I was trying to relay. It is all part of the experience for both reader and client.
The accomplished practitioner surrenders to the moment, delivers the message and doesn’t seek approval outside of their own intuitive self. You find contentment when you practise your craft. You fulfil your soul purpose, connect with spirit, with soul, and deliver the message your client needs to heal and live their best lives.
Whenever I am challenged by delays I sit with my thoughts and put them gently into my heart where I find comfort and release. I understand all is well and this is never about me, it is about expressing my spirit self through my practice and feeling at peace with the Universe.
